watch jim cornette’s full reaction to marko stunt returning to aew here!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UdtupRD4m0A.htmlsi=nB7Lvgr4tfSSMeJo
Yeah, no thanks. I could barely stand listening to Jim for this video. Why so many wrestling fans listen to him and regurgitate his opinions is baffling to me.
@@Sd12sx23lmfao what a moron. They listen because they agree. And when people agree on things they normally say the same things about it. It’s not rocket science, kid.
@@Sd12sx23 No disrespect. You're definitely allowed to have your own opinion. But Cornette does have over 40 years of experience in this business and even tho he has a couple opinions I don't agree with he definitely knows what he's talking about when it comes to the business.
@@alternative7586 Maybe, but it coincidentally validates the "indie-riffic" mindset. Big comeback of one of the BIGGEST stars of the last 20 years on one show, on the other they had this little guy. And I'd put money on my 9 year old daughter to knock him out.
I’m all for people living their dreams, but this has to be a joke right how is anyone supposed to take anybody wrestling him seriously any bump they take will just look obviously fake.
I, sadly, won't forget the first AEW battle royal with the 4 different groups of 5 wrestlers. Outside of MJF, the first group had wrestlers that made George Gulas look like 1984 Ric Flair. We even got a guy with no legs! In a match that you have to throw your opponents over the top rope....guy had NO LEGS!😲
Hes right about 95% of the time in terms of wrestling, and about 99.9% right about anything pertaining to the modern drivel they still call "pro wrestling".
@@bmstyty3549yeah.. Key example is Nia Jax.. He and the hardcore base hates her but she's popular backstage and the casuals/kids have been behind her since she started doing skits with wrestlers even when she was fired
@@danielseaton3504 the lockerroom literally pushed for her to come back and she's one of HHHs favorites.. I'm sorry your narratives don't outweigh reality.. There's a reason she took Stratton under her wing when she first got to NXT and they're playing it on TV now
@@theanystrom2882 and you’re exactly the reason why wrestling is dead. There’s no way a 4’10 twink should be lifting anybody that weigh more pounds than 90 pounds. It’s ridiculous and you can tell he’s not doing anything. They’re going out of their way to make the bump look decent because he can’t actually lift them. Everyone’s not supposed to do every move. I get people know that wrestling is fake but it’s not supposed to look fake. Imagine how people would feel about Hollywood if all the movies if actors did a bunch of ridiculous stuff that you know could never happen in real life.
To be fair to AEW when marko stunt was there for three years between 2019-2022 they never let him hold a title. He never won any belts so….hey at least they didn’t put a belt on him out of pity or something lol 😅
Weeks later, I’m still digging this narratively. Come on, dude. Regardless of how you feel about Marko’s size, or whatever, this was a great way to demonstrate that Jack is a ruthless heel now.
The amount of blowing smoke up peoples asses on the attendance is insane. Like people will hear “welcome from the Scotiabank SaddleDome we have a packed crowd today” when people hear that and they’re at a stadium with a capacity of 15-20k. People who don’t know how back the attendance truly is will think they’re packing up that stadium. It had 5,000 people. They could’ve almost went to the max bell Center it’s 3000 capacity if you include standing.
Markos height isn’t the issue, small people should be able to wrestle too. It’s the fact that they have him acting like a 10 year old doing Fortnite dances
Marko stunt is 28 years old right now. That means when he was in AEW for his first run from 2019-2022 he was between ages 23-26. MAYBE 22 since his bday is in July near the end of the year. So if we say he was between 22-25 (accounting for that July bday) I have NO DOUBT IN MY MIND he was doing those Fortnite dances because he wanted to. I almost guarantee you he wanted to do that cringe floss dance he was always doing.
Marko stunt whether you like him or not was yet another victim of Tony khans “I have new toys” mentality. Marko said that when he was in AEW for the first couple years he and Tony were close and talked a lot. But near the end of his time in 2022 suddenly there was zero communication. He was suddenly not being used on tv anymore, he would send texts and emails and Tony would ignore all of them. It was actually Christopher Daniel’s who told Marko stunt AEW and Tony khan had decided not to resign Marko and they were letting him go and the answer Daniel’s gave Marko was “the company just feels you aren’t brining anything new to the table or helping the audience grow” It’s funny how Tony can’t just say that to someone. He just ghosts his employees when he doesn’t want them anymore and waits till they leave. 😅
You know it’s bad when the guy with 40 years of experience in the wrestling industry and has seen everything that has probably ever been on tv and more then we have because of the hundreds of house shows. Is saying it looks like indi bs
You sound stupid, he literally complains about everything that isn't a Vince McMahon oiled up wet muscle dream with that kind of attitude the cruiser weights and smaller would never even exist
But if you hear him on that Renee Paquete interview he concedes how out of shape and bad he was on most of his AEW run, that was his words not Jim Cornette's...
Cornette talks alot of shit for a guy that had a tennis racket on him at all times managing some "not all" of the worst fundamentally sound wrestlers to botch in a ring but i guess its easier to hide when its bear hugs and leg drops
@@shawnspeigner2835 ...what story? That the women in AEW are all basically lesbian sexual predators? Or that Tony Khan, who admitted being the booker, put Chris Daniels in charge to stand there mute and impotent while Roddy Strong "Lunges" at the boss?
