Ive seen a lot of other fans echo this opinion but im gonna start off with i like Brian, i think him and Jim are good on the show together, but this Twitter beef thing is kinda lame. Its the exact thing we clown on Jericho and Dax and the rest of the AEW crowd for. Hell even Brian has mocked Dax for his Twitter activity but then now does the same thing.
I agree with this statement, especially given it all started over what sounded like Dave trying to be friendly with Brian with the stock market stuff. Brian could have easily said he wasn't interested talking about it as a matter of separating wrestling work with that part of his career/life, but instead he had to be coy about it and that got this ball rolling.

He could’ve just said, “If you come at me, I’m gonna come at you.” It would’ve sounded way more grounded and worthy of being taken seriously. The way he said it makes him sound like a teenage boy in a group chat. I never tried to spin it in any particular way, that’s just what he said. It goes without saying that what he said was metaphorical, that much should be obvious, but that still doesn’t change the fact that it was cringe to hear and sounds like something that your little cousin who plays too much Fortnite would say.

Every Dave I've ever known has been a disaster. Seriously, the one Dave in my family is in prison for drugs, one from when I was in school was a bully who is in prison now for child molestation, the coach at the same school was a Dave who knocked up a 12 year old, one I worked with got fired for taking 3 hour breaks and being on drugs at work, one who was a youth pastor at my parents' church was caught molesting kids in the youth group, though that's pretty much any christian youth pastor and less a Dave thing... I listened to this podcast and I even read Dave Scherer's response to the podcast. I like both Brian and Dave. After seeing both of their side, I have come to this conclusion. Dave Scherer is weird for having an issue with the 'no paywall' comment. Despite being told multiple times it was never an issue, Dave kept pressing about it. He then had an issue over a joke Brian made regarding how the website is with multiple ads, and talking about his wife didnt like him. And while PWInsider is great, the presentation of the website is horrible. If Dave Scherer has such a problem with the shot taken at how his site looks, then he should have made the website more presentable and not make it look it never got updated since 2004. I also remember when Dave Scherer also took direct shots at Brian because of his twitter fight with Matt Hardy. While he was saying that both men blew this out of proportion and gave his fair share of criticisms to Matt, he did agree and say stuff like Brian is a nobody if it werent for Jim. He did say he was great as a co-host, but you have to have a brain of swiss cheese if you dont know a shot is a shot no matter how it sounds and not expect it to be taken a certain way. Most importantly, Jim told Dave multiple times that he didnt say anything bad about Dave and he needs to leave him out of this, Dave still kept pestering Jim and crying about Jim not taking actions against his co-host. Jim and Brian are partners sure, but nobody gets upset at Mike Johnson over the thinge Scherer says either. Brian and Jim are two grown adult men with different opinions. It didn't help matters when Dave said "Our paths will never cross" only to threaten Jim and Brian with legal actions afterwards. Brian Last, on the other hand, comes across like a mark for himself and someone who can dish it out but cant take it. It comes across as incredibly weird for him to gloat about the sign he held for Bubba, but its nowhere near as embarrassing for him to say he knew Dave Scherer since 1995 just because he sat beside him in an ECW show and helped in holding up his sign. That is not what 'knowing someone' means. They never talked to each other, hung out with each other, etc. In Dave's perspective, Brian was just a co-host who became known because of Jim. And yes, Brian Last did start this fight. They are bringing this other stuff, but for those who feel this segment is unnecessary, this all started because Brian name dropped Scherer. He could have left it at "some people had an agenda against Meltzer and some are just jealous". There was no name dropping needed. There wouldn't be no twitter fight if it wasn't for Brian. Not only was Brian saying Scherer was jealous of Meltzer is uncalled for, it is also untrue (more on that in a minute). So for him to play victim and talking about getting his 'uzi out' is absurd and cringey. It is also pretty cringey to say your email is gonna make someone take their life. Now, going back to how Scherer's beef with Meltzer started. Meltzer and Scherer were friends or at least associates. Meltzer asks Scherer about ECW shows snd then proceeds to write completely different from what Scherer says. This, according to Scherer, was not only a blatant lie but it also creates issues between him and the ECW wrestlers who know Scherer is feeding Dave stuff. So he started Lariat because he doesn't like Meltzer's practices and wishes to not be associated with him. Also, while you can think what you want about Scherer's reasons for not liking Meltzer, he has given Meltzer credit where its due (like saying he is a great historian). And someone really needs to take Meltzer to task over his journalism and his other shenanigans, which is what Brian and Jim dont do enough (to clarify, its fine because Jim's shows are not for Meltzer but there's nothing wrong with Scherer having an issue with a journalist over his practices). So again, Last's shot at Scherer was untrue and uncalled for and all of this could have been avoided if Scherer's name was not dropped. What I said in regards to Scherer applies to Last - a shot is a shot so don't play victim and expect someone to fire back. Even when Scherer asked Brian's logic on knowing someone because they sat besides you, Last response was to go after PWInsider by calling everyone worthless except for Mike Johnson. While true, it is unrelated to the matter at hand. But I guess twitter makes everyone act dumb. And having an issue over someone having a paywall is dumb. How dare people who write and report stuff on wrestling, that Jim and Brian read, to want to get paid for their work. Based on the comments I am seeing, its safe to say Brian didn't look good. Both sides are in the wrong and these sad state of events could have been avoided if both of them just minded their own business. All this does is put Jim in a crossfire and a potential lawsuit (that Dave Scherer seems to imply in his side of the story when he is talking about why Jim is angry at him). Still like them all.
While not overly concise it is very fair. I agree with Scherer on a lot of things but his shots at Meltzer do get drastically over the top and not needed. Despite what Last claims it doesn’t appear to be out of jealousy but instead Scherer perceiving Meltzer to have biases as this really ramped up after “Brawl Out”.

This is going to likely be an unpopular opinion, and I love the show, but Brian and Dave going at it for days came across a little like man child behaviour, and it kind of sucks 45 minutes of the show went to this over amazing Jim Cornette opinions, questions and comments

Brian Last acts like he is a star. At the end of the day this is NOT Jim's problem it is Brian's. I cannot stand Last. The only reason anyone comes here is to hear Jim's takes. He isn't even a sidekick, he's the podcast equivalent of the camera man. He has NO reason experience in the business and no one will EVER claim to know him.

That is certainly true. There one time he was talking about how much of a financial genius he was, but he had never heard of Deloitte and Touche, one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the world.
