In contrast, nobody's watching this because there can't be many people out there looking at these chucklefucks and going "Gee, I sure wish I could be like him." Oh, and... MJF vs Omega, for the world title, first time ever that they're wrestling each other, on free television, and Collision drew less people than it did the week before. A match you could've headlined the second Wembley show with, and they're just thrown out there on the B show like two pieces of shit and nobody watched it. They promoted this match on their A show and not even their own fucking fans that are drawing almost double what Collision draws over on Dynamite will tune in for Collision to see it.

Even if MJF deep down for whatever reason loves Omega and the Bucks and respects them for helping get AEW started he has to look around and say yeah the matches are great but everything to build them sucks and I don't wanna kill myself in front of 3000 ppl. Just imagine what Jade tells whoever she still talks to in AEW when she physically sees for herself 15,000 or 10,000 whtlatever it is weekly. AEW has failed. The measuring stick is wwe not roh, tna and they are farther from wwe now then when they began. I'm out on aew. Havnt watched in a month and don't plan to unless significant changes are made

I think the whole “streak” thing is some sort of Japanese booking thing. When Okada was on the legendary title run a few years ago, he wrestled Tanahashi just because Okada was about to break Tana’s title defense record. That’s it. So, with MJF about to pass Omega’s title reign record, Kenny had to come back to the world title picture for the first time in nearly two years just to try to stop that reign.

Jim needs to hear about all the CM Punk references that have been made on RAW every week, and by the USA Network on social media

It could have been an actual story instead of what felt like a quickly thrown together thing. It felt like someone was doing some research and realized that Kenny’s record was in jeopardy and made a booking decision ten days out. The last month should have been Kenny scrambling to get a title shot to protect his record. It was an after thought that felt like they tried to fix on the fly and left people with “that could have been great if only they…”

The thing about Omega is that I like a lot of his matches, even if I feel like he's overrated in that regard. But there has NEVER EVER been an Omega promo I listened to and got excited for his feud or his next match. He's not believable as a heel or a babyface. He just drips with insincerity whenever he speaks and how he presents himself. Another thing is that the match on Collision had 3 days of build. They knew Omega's record was coming up and could have made that a story for weeks. Instead it was a last minute thing. Predictably, the ratings for Collision were down from the previous week despite the big title match. What is Tony doing? He has no clue.
