TSU is a Historically Black University so them playing Bianca to the ring was just a nice nod to the community. They could've at least explained who the band was lol so it makes sense why Corny didn't get it.

Night 1 was definitely better than Night 2. The card looked worse on paper, but it's execution played out well bar Boogs getting injured.

What you heard before Cody's music hit is a soundbite of him saying, "Wrestling has more than 1 Royal family". The Soundbite before the music was part of his AEW entrance as well. That's why the fans cheered when they heard it.

Mr. Fuji was the last guy to pull off a frogsprash in the ring. 😂

Dominick needs a good costume and a cool mask and that would help a lot. Rey looked like a baby when he wrestled without his mask and it hurt him to a degree.

I am gonna make a bold statement. I was there and imo Seth Rollins' entrance made him feel like the biggest thing on WrestleMania. The attire, the fire, the music, the fan sing along, the (some shade of green was a thing of) green titantron, it was a thing of beauty.

The sword may not have been rubber. It might have just been the rolling shutter effect, often seen when taking photos of golf swings or baseball swings.

Cornette is wrong about the air guitaring. There were 2 guitar tracks.. Boogs played the simpler riff, but he was actually playing. The sword isn't rubber.. the ropes were gimmicked obviously but the bending is normal for any sword.

Enjoyed night 1, was pleasantly surprised.

Please add chapters to these longer, multi match episodes.

There’s just something about Corny, a well known infamous figure in pro wrestling, and noted lover and hater of most things modern, loves the Paul Brothers in the wwe. Yet fans of boxing and cage fighting/ The UFC loathe them.

With Austin I think he was mentally comparing this Wrestlemania with his last Wrestlemania. And there was a world of difference between the two. Hell it his and Rock's main event triology that made him and Rock a fortune and helped Vince take the WWE public. And this was Austin's greatest hits with a little extra Wrestlemania sauce on it for another ludicrous payoff for a whole lot less I guess.

Honestly...When Jim makes Brian cracks the shits when he's goofing around on the ad spots is my favorite part of these.

Cornette doesn't know about swords they are a bit flexible

Not saying the McIntyre match was good or anything but Jim is clutching a bit when he says it was obvious the sword was rubber. Unless you really sit and pause the footage it actually is not obvious at all. No need to completely exaggerate just because you think something is rotten.

I thought cornet was going to bury Logan Paul (I'm not some Logan Paul mark, I thought his performance barring the circumstances was very good)....but when he buried Dominick I thought to myself (and that's why I listen to this man, he speaks the truth)

It makes me feel good when I give my buddies my take the day after, then listen to Jim and our tales are pretty spot on. Makes my wrestling knowledge head grow very large 😂

I like happy Corbin, I just don't think Drew was a good opponent for him. But happy up against a smaller guy, like Sami Zane.

For swords such as the Braveheart style sword that McIntyre uses there is a bending effect due to how long those swords are. It's going to happen with those kind of forged swords.

There were some very good matches here but man, it's all sooooo sloooow. Endless video packages (though they were all incredible, top notch production as always), endless entrances... I was completely burned out at the end. And it was just night one! If you take all the good things about both days, you'd get one hell of a WrestleMania DAY, but not weekend.

If you put AJ/Edge, Pat/Theory and Roman/Brock in night 1, take out Drew/Corbin and the Usos/Nak and Boogs match and forget about everything else on night 2 it would be a top 10 Mania and you won't need it to be two nights.

Problem with Dominik is he looks exactly lile the kid from Summerslam 2005 so he can't get over because he still looks like a kid. Problem also is his height differential to Rey makes the Eddie storyline from 2005 all the more awkward. Facially he's as babyfaced as Rey but with Rey's mask he just ends up looking more like Eddie's son all along. Once that's in your head, he's not chance of shaking it off.

I'll say this about AEW and WWE. As a wrestling fan, you can like both companies. I've been a WWF/WWE fan since 1987. It is 2 different products. AEW puts on better matches, but, they give you ppv quality on free TV. These guys are going to get injured, and that should not be the first and foremost thing to do on free TV. They need to build to ppv and the next week. It is ok to have a good match, but not for the sake of injury. WWE caters to all types of people, or casual fans. Both companies suffer from bad storytelling. What I'm trying to say is that it is ok to like both, to like one, or to dislike both. We all have things we like and people's opinions don't matter. My opinion doesn't matter.

They should have had preshow matches inside before mania cause the um... cough "dj" cough they had inside the stadium sucked bad

As a Charlotte flair fan since NXT, glad she won, but this wasn't a top 20 flair match. Maybe it was just getting late but same as Brian Last, I couldn't get invested into this match either.

WWEs biggest problem with these shows is the overhyped hype packages before every match. I get that folks may get the ppv and not know what is going on, but they need to cut the times on them. By the way, Ronda's first match was Wrestlemania 34 in the mixed tag with Angle, Triple H and Steponme.
