For me, the Oliv D is just slightly darker. This never bothered me. Actually I forgot about it - only if I really listen to it "analytically" I hear a very slight difference. And I am actually really picky in terms of evenness of the notes on the fingerboard! I haven't tried Eudoxa for a long time. I might do that because I still have a set. But I remember that when I tested them (10 or 15 years ago) I had the feeling that they were acting as a compressor and not giving back the energy when I plucked hard. But maybe I would say something else today.... I will check!

@@kentosuzuking I have put on one Eudoxa string (A) a week ago. Unfortunately the impression that I remembered from 12 years ago was confirmed: Eudoxa don't give me a precise punch at the beginning of the tone. My finger energy seems to transmit more into a "fat" sustain, but the attack seems to be "compressed".
