As a Michigan alum and chargers fan to all the chargers fans out there this man is a winner he took over Michigan football in a horrible spot and took us to the promise land… this guys gonna get us that bowl
Prez made me shed a tear when he said San Diego Chargers. San Diegan Wolverine since fan since middle school thanks to my teacher who is a Michigan man and let me watch the games when I had sat school. Thank u Mr.G
Michigan fan since BO, couldn't have said it better Dave. Good luck Jim, also lived id San Diego for 35 years, so also a Charger fan. Go get that Super Bowl 🏆
Disappointed how Michigan AD never give him full support and he could change that by extending him after the Title even if NCAA punish him but he got cold feet.
Harbaugh can. As a Wolverine I'm a little bummed but he peaked at the right time for us. He came back home to win one for his alma mater and now he's going to do the same for the Chargers. It won't be next year but he will
Michigan was awful before Harbaugh showed up. Brutally awful with no light at the end of the tunnel. Just hope Michigan can build off what Jim did, just not sure Moore is the guy.
I came here for the "San Diego" Charger comments. I am not a fan of the LA Chargers but will always be a fan of the San Diego Chargers! Thank you Dave for saying that.
I can't say what Jim Harbaugh really wants, but it seems like a risky move to me. He's got in made at Michigan. It's far easier to keep a strong program going strong in the college ranks than it is in the NFL where the built-in parity of the draft rules make it much, much harder. Very few NFL coaches have winning records for more than a handful of consecutive seasons so it's difficult to stay off the hot seat. But I wish him all the best.
What is being conveniently overlooked here is that in the background the University of Michigan is being investigated for major violations. Harbaugh knows this and also knows if he moves on to the NFL he will get a 'get out of jail free card' and avoid the hassle and consequences. I would not be surprise if Michigan is stripped of its national title when it is all said and done. So, Harbaugh leaving is calculated to avoid the fallout. . . . . .
As a Michigan fan I hate it but totally understand why, nccaa investigations blah blah.. he did what he set to do, now Michigan needs to hire sheronne Moore and keep existing staff. If not it was a nice run.. NCAA is screwing up college football anyway might as well go to NFL just hope he’s getting 18-20 million a year Go Blue!
No fan of the bolts, became even more disinterested when they moved to LA, I think Harbaugh made a mistake, I think he should have stayed at Michigan, a decision I think he'll later regret, just my opinion
Mighty white of you Dave to allow Harbaugh a seat at the Wolverines' table, considering Jim was the starting QB for them in 84-86 as well as head coach... 😋😋😋😋I'm sure he is happy as hell for your generosity!
