Yea, I remember reading about it at school, and on paper it's an amazing country. They have Mediterranean coast, the alps and beautiful forest between the two.
He is funny, but that is complete bullish! I understand he needs that to build up the joke, but Slovenia is really lovely country just in the edge of the Alps. Lots of Germans, Austrians and Italians spend there Holidays. I wouldn't mind to live there. I would rather live there than in any place in USA...
I'm Slovenian and I like Jim; but boy, where's the logic behind his statement? You can't compare an industrialist town of 4000 in the middle of a hillside valley to Venice. By that logic, anyone should go live in Venice.
radgoncan And the funny thing is, almost no one lives in Venice, or at least the old city, anymore. It'd be horrible to live there, with no other people and all those fucking loud-mouthed tourists. Like Jim Jefferies. ;-)
