Jim Kovaleski has returned to FL from spending the summer in Maine! Jim has stayed busy farming while he was away, but Winter is approaching near and it was time to be in the Florida sunshine. We caught up with Jim and he explains his plan for Fall and Winter. We are thrilled to have our good friend back in the Sunshine State!
ALSO, we filmed a Course with Jim Kovaleski a few years back. It's called "The Grass-Fed Market Garden" ; this course is packed with valuable information + content and is affordable! Learn from the Farming Master!

"Kick ass plants, put in kick ass soil, you get a kick ass harvest." Makes sense to me, Jim. Good point about pulling the whole Bermuda runner out not just the part that pokes above the soil.

Moringa leaves are used for soups and stews and helps with breastfeeding moms to produce more milk (in the Philippines and Asia), the pods when it's little younger can be cooked like green beans 😊

Very nice to see you guys. Jim must know if you slide that rebar up inside regular garden hose - it just looks like hose. You can paint it, but it won't cut into any sheet plastic you might want supported there. I wish for an earth sheltered NJ pit greenhouse that would do moringa every day. Nice to see it on display there gentlemen. Don't forget to enjoy your week.

Instead of rebar for your frames, use 1/2" EMT, cheap and strong, and easy to work with! 2 bends on the top piece, then 2 joints to attach to legs, done! Check it out! Used EMT for years. Great garden, liked the video...

Just commenting as I'm watching, the best method for trellising tomatoes I have ever used is just 8' T posts hammered into the ground with a PVC T on the top of each one. Run EMT conduit across the tops and use conduit connectors to attach each piece. Run your bailer twine from the conduit down to your plant and stake. Buy it one time and no messy string or rusty metal. This setup, along with the lean and lower technique, I grew 12' tall field tomatoes last year. I just moved to Brandon and would love to learn more from you guys!
