Loved the personal bits, a real suprise was that he moved to the US again. Glad to have met him in Essen Germany, thought he triggered me on the personal level.
The personal bits are appreciated. They seem like possible ways to see how this 'way of being' might manifest in the world. The simplicity of the responses seems to point to an answer.

Interesting to see Jim being a bit more cautious, reserved, in parts almost intimidated, but absolutely natural and entertaining, in this interview, obviously due to the more nonchalant nature of the interview with lots of questions tapping into Jim's private life, or also maybe because Laura was present? For all these reasons I found it to be one of the most pleasurable and insightful interviews ever with him. A bit sad though (for me!) (but glad for him!) to hear he's going to leave Europe for the States. I'll miss him being around close-by among 'us here in Europe'. Met him last year in St. Gallen. Turning point in my life! I wish him all the best always! I rate the interview 10/10. The interaction between interviewer and interviewee was brilliant. Many great thanks!

Dear Interviewer, I am curious if you have done internal inquiry? A lot of your questions seem as if you haven't done any inquiry into seeing there is no you. It seems like you aren't hearing that there is no one here. Once you realize there is no person inside your questions are meaningless. I did watch it because I enjoy hearing Jim's message. All your personal questions made it seem like you didn't listen to Jim at all.
The same can be said about your comment, by your logic you wouldn't be questioning anything about this interview because all of it is part of what is, and what is isn't confusing because there's no one to be confused.
@@pedestrian_0 I am simply pointing to inquiry. Until it is experienced that there is no personal self then one needs to inquire within. This isn't about logic. This is experiencing and seeing through illusion of a personal self. Most of the questions were asked of a person which Jim kept trying to point out wasn't his experience. 🙏
So yeah, depersonalization/derealization disorder is definitely something that (apparently lol) happens, it’s just very different from what this message is talking about. If anything, I think it has to do with a very, very strong “me” experience, just like psychotic breaks are. Everything is mediated through the ego-something psychoanalysts call “secondary narcissism”, which is integral to a psychological break from conventional reality. (That’s just a whole other can of worms, though. This message can fuel a psychotic or dissociated state, but then again, many, many things can.) If anyone reading this is going through psychological issues, don’t let this message impact your decision to get help. Jim himself explicitly says that he *doesn’t advise against therapy.* Psychological stuff has nothing to do with the message-no more or less than anything else does, that is. Poor Jim needs more knowledge about the physical universe. All of this silliness can be explained scientifically, but these folks seem to like metaphysics, not physics. Spiritual psychosis.
Idk, what he’s talking about has nothing to do with physics, really. It’s only spiritual people that want to turn physics into metaphysics. Otherwise, physics is just physics lol..there’s no mystical truth hidden in it. And Jim’s talking about neither physics nor metaphysics. And yeah, Jim’s gotten more spacey recently. Another nonduality speaker, Dawn Garland, sometimes mentions how talking about “liberation” can get trickier the more time passes, because you can sort of forget what seeking was like. Also, I think Jim’s gone through lots of changes “in the story” recently (sorry for the frustrating nondual jargon haha), and we can’t really say what’s going on psychologically. Doesn’t matter, really. A lot of his older stuff is crystal clear, though. I think he does better when he’s just left to talk freely, and his personal matters aren’t intruded upon. Did many high priced seminars and like Newman and Parsons have said ,,,,,they help for a little while The message that Newman and Parsons have shared cost nothing. Nothing is for free but not for me .

First question is obviously speaking within a context of relativity. There’s an ‘apparent’ individual living a life (a body) that responds to a name, or “you”. The second question is referring to a message that is blatantly pointing beyond any contextual reference. In that regard, the individual speaking it is one with the wholeness of what’s being pointed to. One is the apparent duality that the non-dual appears as. The other isn’t pretending to be anything else. There’s some clarity, maybe.
The way he laughs at the depersonalization comment seems kind of...uh...depersonalized. I mean at least he should address it seriously as it is a common accusation against his message.
33:15 If me is no longer there then whatever is there how would it know if anything is happening? Exactly that’s the point but things still seems to be happening and no one knows them hence nothing is happening. Does not it confirms that there still exist a no one who still knows even though it knows nothing? Does anybody gets it? Or…No one gets not.
I wouldn’t say that it’s not happening because no one knows it, it’s not happening, because it’s nothing appearing as everything that there is ( objects, sounds, sensational, thoughts ), but yes there is no one who knows that, the knower is the sense of ME, but that’s not why it’s “not happening “. Nothing being everything is a good description of this, or unknowing ISness.
The "one" in "no one", refers to the ego self. I believe🤭 What knows that theres nothing happening and theres no one? THAT...is The Self ( capital S) = The absolute = Bruhmmun = Shiva = Yahweh..etc
I am not surprised that Jim left Europe, been there last year, and it seems more divided then the US, lots of people I talked to want their country to leave the Union, the western countries became too liberal, lots of bureaucracy and red tape. Corruption became rampant, especially in the former eastern block. And with the uncertainty with Russia, it’s not a desirable place to live.

His message is incompleet ...The person, the " I " do not exists , only the Absolute existence exists and you (everybody ) are That. When you say pain is appearing, you are unconciously intended the feeling of pain. Its dual. A distort sense of self can lead to think there's only pain. It can be an initial stadium of dissociative disorder. Be careful with non duality

The last line ' while retaining awareness that this is only a feeling and not a reality.' would mark the distinction between a self feeling there is no self and the reality of there being no self.
Is it just me or is my intuition correct in noticing a distinct defensiveness in Newmans disposition? He is making a conscious effort to speak softly. Why? Are we supposed to believe that he isn't feeling tension? The more he invests in calmness the more obvious are the undercurrents of his self-concern. I have been in the presence of people who don't need to argue their point of view. They have genuinely surrendered to what is. They exude peace and inspire confidence without saying a word. This fad of radical non-duality is likely to be short-lived. The advocates are simply unconvincing energetically. They are bitter and resentful that divine revelation has been denied them. So they take this "apparent" short cut. It reeks of ego. No wonder they've been suspended.
I think the point is unconditionality. So it seems like you’re imposing conditions of ‘what it has to look like’ or else it’s not authentic, which is perpetuating the overlooking of the main point. Ok, so those judgements about Jim are there, and that’s what is hahaha. It’s the Absolute just as equally appearing as that. There’s no exclusivity to what he’s talking about. If you’re excluding ‘this’ from ‘that’ as something divine or not divine, it seems like you’re talking about something entirely different than this. And funnily, that’s the Absolute appearing as THAT too haha. So there’s no real difference to grab hold of.

He is presenting as having had an intellectual realisation of the unconditioned. He is yet to embody that realisation through his heart. Limitations are an aspect of human experience in order for graduation. We gradually accept the nature of reality Just because I am willing to acknowledge those limitations doesn't mean I am the architect of them. The mind may want to bypass the heart. There's a difference between the minds desire to know and the knowing itself. Jim is a victim of wanting to know. If there is any confusion regarding this then pay attention to his behaviour before he had the intellectual realisation. He was possessed by self-pity. Radical non-duality is his pacifier.
Nobody wants to say or hear the words ... "I Don't Know." These 3 simple, boring words have no 'true' value within the existential marketplace. @@hermansohier7643 It is very subtle But his message isn't like Nisagadattas in fact he is allmost blaze ,so when he started out I tried to email him ,then out of the blue he rang ,I was so excited and so full of joy ,love surprise . What followed was a rather hostile rigid defensive at times allmost offensive monologue from Jim ,as if he had to belittle me prove me somehow ,later I xhecked whag he was saying against ancient texts and my own experience ,they or it doesn't tally there is something not right ,if was to try to put my finger on it I'd say a kind of narcissistic personality with a kind of I'm right etc atitude, he is not being honest etc in the same way I think TP is playing a kind of game ,intellectually it sounds OK but the person and what they are saying somehow don't tally .
