You are so right my friend, problem being is most of the wrestler he was cool with left by 88, and 95% of them died young before these shoots interviews ,so we only get to hear from the Jealous one's, everyone putting themselves over by saying how bad he is ,

Scammed multiple promoters - Scammed multiple people with his "Warrior University" - Scammed even more people with his hotline in 1995 that consisted of just a tape with some random, incoherent rambling There's nothing misunderstood about it, even if a few demented marks like to claim he was great. There's a good reason why so many fans who met him back then have nothing but bad things to say
I think most guys disliked warrior out of jealousy over money. The more of these shoots that keep being released, the more positive things people have to say about him. Kerry Von Erich , Bad News Brown, Davey Boy Smith, Paul Roma, Kamala, Marc Mero, Ahmed Johnson, Owen Hart, Undertaker etc liked Warrior and the list goes on. Even guys that have had bad things to say about him have changed their minds nowadays. That Self Destruction DVD was just full of Vince's ass kissers and it hasn't aged well at all.
Hogan himself called it a work. This was in an interview _right_ after he just got finished testifying against Warrior in his defamation lawsuit. He couldn't emphasize enough how much he hated Warrior at the time, but he just casually described it as a work along the way to making his points.
Warrior treated enhancement guys like crap. Go watch interviews with George South and Barry Horowitz. Those guys had no jealously, they knew their role in the company.

So, if I follow your logic, if one person who doesn't like you does something bad, then you are automatically good? I don't disagree that Warrior gets a bad rap, but that argument is nonsense.
@@exitwound3931 maybe it is nonsense but all the people I mentioned are all bad guys because they've covered for mcmahon all these years. But in defense of my argument, evil people do defame the reputations of good people. its a common practice, for example in politics.... often the good guys have a tarnishsed image because bad people always write history
bobby heenan didn't like warrior because - basically - warrior didn't do what heenan told him to. during one spot, heenan had told warrior to push him into the ring post instead of clotheslining him but warrior was "in the zone" and clotheslined him anyway (from behind) ... heenan had a bad neck at the time and this exasperated it. ...and with people like DiBiase, it's just pure jealousy and bitterness that warrior had a better physique, faster rise and better fan reactions.
It would be unfair to label him as a wrestling "journeyman", but he kind of was. He was involved in wrestling throughout its 80s-2000s golden age, but never had the success of his peers. I'd put Jim Powers alongside the Mick Foleys or Steve Austins of the wrestling world...just that Mick and Austin caught their break and Jim Powers didn't.
WWF/WWE had three levels of jobbers--no-names who got squashed, older stars on the way down who'd put up a good fight but get cheated, and young guys with good bodies who'd nearly score an upset until they made a mistake and lost. Jim Powers was on TV almost every week for years and years, a handsome bodybuilder about six feet tall with a great dropkick. Ten years earlier, he'd have been a midcard babyface in some territorial promotion.
Na, that's ridiculous. Vince isn't a Saint as we know, but he still has a heart -- he was clearly saddened and upset when Warrior passed away, and wanted absolutely to pay him homage any way he could. He even gave Warrior's wife a high paying job for years. Warrior died in front of his daughters, anyone joking about his death is F'ed up beyond belief.
Vince could have made a lot of money offering Warrior a legends contract. It makes zero sense for Vince to harm him after everyone welcomed him back. That's a ridiculous conspiracy you have there...
I'm just saying guys. The dude was fine until he came back. I've watched other videos that's made me think like wtf?? Vince is an evil mfer and most of its coming out in the wash right this second!!
