My only thing with Wardlow is that it's hard to buy into him as a heel. There's a strange charisma to him that would probably stand out more if he were a face. Which means there's something to look forward to if he ever turns on MJF

Wardlow is pretty damn impressive. I wish we saw more of him in the ring, maybe going after the TNT title (Darby vs Wardlow sounds good to me). But I know when he finally breaks free from MJF he's gonna be a damn fine babyface. He's very likable and soft-spoken, polar opposite of MJF.

They've been throwing in teases every now and then. One day, Wardlow will turn on MJF in front of a full crowd and the place will go bananas. Great to see Wardlow can hold his own on the mic, so their feud is destined to be good. He's also very likeable on podcasts, awesome guy

Their records reset at the beginning of the year so in 2021 he is undefeated. He actually has the best singles record in Aew with only 1 singles loss to Mox, Shida has the 2nd best with only 2 losses to Riho and Statlander.

I think this is my favorite use of JR these days, when he does these sit down interviews with people. I loved the one he did with Hangman after he lost the tag title, and this one is just as good, if not better. It feels old school, civilized, like a legitimate presentation. JR as an interviewer has that legit sportscaster vibe, like a Howard Cosell or someone like that, who can get straight with someone with a wrestling persona, cut straight through the bullshit and ask the real questions without it being overdramatic or aggressive. And people respect JR, even the heels, so he's perfect for these kind of interviews. Max is fire as always, but it's good to hear Wardlow speak as well. He needs some work on the delivery still, sounds a little scripted, like he's reading/remembering lines, not delivering them, but his voice is great, once he works on those other qualities, he'll be right up there with MJF. Glad hes working on it though, he has the potential to be a real star
