Mr.Thorpe was discriminated by taking back all the trophies and titles he had won by hard work. Then, after 38 years or so and after his death, he was reinstated gaining back all that he had won. He wanted to become a coach ... to.be a coach but never got it until late. Why was it so difficult for him to get the position of a coach job when he had all the qualifications. So unfair. I hope he succeeded in training those kids as their coach. ... end of the movie. Mr. Lancaster’s performance was delightful to watch in this movie. I like all his movies... handsome, athletic and superb acting!!! May you Rest In Peace, Mr. Lancaster.

Wow yeah he would of made an amazing coach but you know how Jealous envious white people are. They can never accept that we have drive and ambition maybe a bit more than they do at times. All they can do is look down on us and make sure we don't even get a chance to succeed, so what was the whole point of these stupid schools? To hurt and break us down? We're still here alive an strong lol

Great movie, just a damn shame that at the time they wouldn't cast someone who was really native american as the star.

Oh ffs get a tampon for your bleeding heart. It's called acting. You don't have to be what you portray.
