Jae is really a wise well thought individual. Look at him covering Jamie from camera on this, and then look at the tweet Jae pointed out at JYP few weeks ago. Yeah that's what happened if you test the patience of someone with very good emotional control

@@esthermohamad1701 in korea they are pretty well known. yerin literally topped charts (in korea ofc) and got a daesang. jamie is already known from her kpop star days but she's getting back that attention after appearing in good girl. and to be fair, the type of music they do, esp yerin, is different from what usually kpop idols do. i don't even categorize them as an idol

@James jype has like sooo many artists (also yes, they focus more on the groups) that's why the solo artists are being "pushed back". beak a yeon even said in her vlog that she wants to perform more and release new songs more than once a year but she can't cause of that reason.
I feel so sad about 15& especially. I loved them together and clearly Jamie wanted to promote with yerin when she was younger and just wanted to sing. (I think now she has a specific type of music she wants to pursue that is different from yerin)

People JYP and JYPE is two different things. Park Jinyoung himself isn't ceo anymore so it isn't his fault of what kind of treatment his artists are receiving. Park Jinyoung has taken the blame in himself plenty of times, when it isn't even his job! I get that he owns the company etc.... but do you really think that he can keep up with all that is happening? From what I've seen and heard park Jinyoung is very supportive over Jimin (this I have also seen with Sunmi) and he keeps in touch with her. He tries to make the artist comfortable, and if they have a complaint they can come to him when in need. I admire Park Jinyoung, but the managers and ceo's at JYP really need to step up their game with boy groups. And from what I've heard a boy group/band is debuting next year so I really hope that by then JYPE has changed their manners. I also think before companies debut new groups and artists, they should treat their old ones better!

I'm a JYP Nation stan....and I love the artists not the company...And I agree some JYP stans are blind about the fact that JYPe is not the best company out there..
Literally every group under JYPE is going through hardships in a way. 1. Got7 : not promoted well, not being able to write their own songs, mistreated. AHGASES pay for Got7's Billboard ads, RU-vid ads, and AHGASES contact shows for Got7 to participate in and ACTUALLY be promoted. AHGASES do this, not the company. Let that sink in. 2. Twice : Overworked, not being promoted well but better than the boy groups. No subunits, no nothing. I remember them having a whole lot of comebacks in 2019. No creativity freedom. Called useless and talentless by their own producers. Mismanaged. Sana and tzuyu being sexualised. 3. Stray Kids : Overworked, little to no promotions. In 2019, skz had 5 comebacks even with the dismissal of a member. Their leader goes live WEEKLY to talk with fans, they constantly produce and work to the point where Chan sleeps 6 hours a week. And Skz is the only kpop group left in JYPE that hasnt been on Knowing brothers. They even produce songs for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES. 4. Itzy : Itzy is being promoted better than JYPE's boygroups too, but their members are often mismanaged. Often you can't see a member on an advertisement page that they took part in. And most of the times that member is Chaeryeong. Yuna is a minor and she's being put in short SHORT clothings and is being sexualised so often i can't count. 5. Day6 : Jae recently spoke up for himself on twitter, but it was immediately solved. In my opinion, the company was keeping him quiet. Jae spoke up about the mistreatment he received. We need more artists like Jamie to speak up for themselves.

jamie queen if you watched her interview after leaving jyp, she said that she never regretted choosing jyp and she will sign again if she go back....actually jimin was in severe depression in her 2 years hiatus.. and she actually thanked jyp for helping her through it because it was discovered in jyp monthly mental health test.

Lol I think Jype only favor his girlgroups like Itzy and Twice(Idk abt SKZ, I think they are doing well) and the fact many jype fans are saying that Jype is the best company but its not. Not to compare, i know all companies arent perfect but I think the best company would be BigHit for me
Despite many people thinking JYP is the most perfect company that can do no wrong, it’s important to understand that each company has their flaws and we, as kpop stans shouldn’t try to overlook this !!
"...shouldn't try to overlook this" so what should kpop stans do about it then? These are for-profit companies. They don't exist of fulfil dreams. So yes, their decisions will favor ventures that will make them money. I'm not saying everything they do is what they should be doing, but I don't see what the fans are supposed to be doing about it. If you don't like their stuff, don't buy/consume their stuff. We idolize singers/dancers/actors...we want them to be treated like kings and queens. But are they truly the most deserving people of this worship? There are people out there who literally give up their lives to protect other people. People who wake up everyday with the goal to save lives. Maybe we should put things in perspective. I love music. I like kpop. I appreciate the entertainment. I truly do. I know music can be healing for some people. But I think we get worked up over the wrong things. Sorry I ended up writing this under your comment. It doesn't exactly apply to what you said per se. But it just suddenly started weighing on my mind.

Yeah all companies in the kpop industry has it's own flaws Majority of the companies in the kpop industry they either mistreated, sexualized, mismanaged, etc., they don't give them enough support and promotion especially the underrated groups.... One thing I like about them is they introduce to us our idols our source of inspiration our role model.
Carefree and outgoing hmm...hyolyn, jessi, soohyun, leehi, lee hyori, somi..these girl is all i can think off and not afraid to say it too just for the girls only

It's weird that JYP pretty much didn't care about her when she's the greatest female vocalist that they ever signed into their label... I'm no vocal expert but I'm sure she can definitely outsing any of JYP's former and current female vocalists... Even JYP legends such as Sunye and Yeeun aren't as vocally capable as she is
To be honest!! A perfect and recent example of this is when Jamie performed the Jazz version of SEULRENE's MONSTER. It was, and I believe this is a fact, the best performance in history PERIODT.

I love Jamie, but when I first saw her I didn't even know she was a singer. I had to look for her songs after her outburst. I literally thought she was just an MC because that was all I saw her do. JYP wasted her talent. I like twice, but Jamie's voice is amazing and she had a lot of potential when she was in JYP.

To all those people saying jyp isn't the ceo. Here's something for you. He isn't the ceo but cco. Chief Creative Officer. He is also the largest shareholder. Jype has a song committee of 15 members and jyp is one of them. He doesn't take part in any corporate work of jype but has full creative control over all the artists. And yes the ceo can't stop him.
but that does not mean he has the role / responsibility to manage the artists and their promotional schedules. everyone has their own role in a company. I mean I'm not even a fan but the guy doesnt deserve the hate bcs of a mess someone else have made.

ok not even a fan of JYP but I just need to clarify that Park Jin Young aka JYP himsef is no longer the one who directly manages the artists. he's just the founder of the company, which means holds a major shareholder, & also a producer. but not all decisions are made by him, the company is a big one, there are many other higher ups not just Park Jinyoung himself.

I've just seen wonder girls small reunion in jyp new building and I think he really care for them. Like Jamie even leave jyp not with bad blood and that just feel awesome
maybe he does care for them. but in their time of staying in the company they didnt get enough and proper marketing. career wise, if someone joins a company hoping to be able to produce albums, make songs, literally be the artist they are, i think it's not unnatural for them to want to look for better opportunities where they can actually do what they signed up for.

It’s unfair honestly cuz like how much have Twice not gotten compared to others. Twice is my ult group in kpop but they overshine other groups under JYP. Even Itzy and NiziU who both still are quit new are getting more than Got7, Day6 and soloists
JYP did admit that he did not manage her well and failed to utilize her full potential. He apologized and she cried. There are no hard feelings. He still supports her. Say what you want about JYP but hes better than most CEO's in the kpop industry.

There are few comments saying Jyp favours girl groups. But that is not totally true. Jyp was being hard on WG. This was said by WG members Yerim, Yeeun and Sunmi. He become a bit softer to Miss A especially Suzy since she is well rounded idol. He become more like father figure to Twice maybe because of his increasing age. Besides he has become a father now. But Twice doesn't get it easy either. They are struggling too, their hard schedule, their practices, outfits and a few issues that I've forgotten. I meant both, JYP AND JYPE. Please treat your artists fairly. I love jyp nation so i hope there will be no more mistreatment 😢
