One of Jiminy's best interviews. David Duchovny is the perfect subject in that he seems to take Jiminy seriously, just not enough to not laugh at his antics.

The main ability of any impersonator is reading people. Martin Short is a master at that. He probably saw it in people in showbiz, and memorized it.

Surprising the ones who get sort of abusive- Jerry Seinfeld, Ricky Gervais, and the ones who are really at a loss-they don’t love it so much when they’re butt of the joke. Also..Amazing what a caustic wit Martin Short can access when he’s such a nice guy.

Ducovney has a solid, genuine sense of humor and delightful poise. Great smile. His perfectly timed holler "I can hear you", off camera at finish is a funny button on the piece, good as any of Shorts funny riffs.

Thank you for uploading these interviews in HD quality. Do you by any chance have the interviews with Nathan Lane and Alec Baldwin, for example? The quality of videos currently on RU-vid don’t match the above for example. Regards from Switzerland.

yes i do have them in HD quality. I had a very early digital PC board back in the day that i captured everything to. Will put those two up soon. Also the Jon Stewart one is particularly bad i have that in HD in my archive as well
