Jimmy Barnes!! Yes!! Many have said he has one of the best male soul voices in the world today. We love him. Please do yourself a favour and check out more of his material, especially his early work with his band Cold Chisel. Jimmy uses a false cord vibrato technique typically seen in soul and gospel music and this combined with his insane range means he can pull off the best of rock, soul, and R&B songs. We love him down under. I’d suggest Cold Chisel Flame trees live at the Last Stand, or Jimmy Barnes any live performance of Driving Wheels.

Jimmy Barnes live is the loudest performer I have ever heard. He loud but it's powerful.

Last Frontier is a great song but do yourself a favour and listen to the version off the Barnestorming live album. It has a brilliant intro.

Please react to more of Jimmy Barnes solo career and with his band cold chisel. Cold chisel are thought to be best Australian band ahead of AC/DC and INXS. Jimmy has done duets with INXS, Tina Turner and John Farnham. Jimmy sing “a change is gonna come” is excellent and all cold chisel songs are great ❤

This version is flashier/ more aggressive but I think Jimmy's original album version is better.

I think the original has his wife, Jane, in the music video. Jimmy is my favourite artist, and his band Cold Chisel is my favourite band. He is great at soul, blues, rock and gospel. ❤❤❤
