I was there that day, its nothing but amazing to see a person at that level of riding rip on a two stroke, it was like a symphamy was playing and ecoeing throughout the track
hi, im 47 years old live in england. my heart still rides like this but my body can't. a well tuned 2 stroke will break even with 4T'S 450 F'S catch me on the straights. but if you keep in the band an low in corners and on jumps any 4t has no chance unless i make a mistake. just watch some old carmichael or mcgrath or even stewart footage. TRUST ME THESE BOYS KNOW HOW TO RIDE! 4T IS A VERY LAZY RIDE. more laid back and your opponents are down nearly 50% on CC capacity. DECOTIS IS A GREAT RIDER. THE FOOTAGE IS NOT SPED UP! THE SOUND IS WHAT I CALL "ON SONG!" THE 2 STROKE WAY OF THINKING IS GO HARD OR GO HOME! 2nd PLACE IS FOR LOSERS! and IT DO'NT HUT TILL THE BONE SHOWS. REAL 2 STROKE RIDERS ARE HARDCORE! SIMPLE!
this guys is so fast it is sick man..omg..i don't know how you could go any faster than him....this is the fastest 2stroke little 125 I have ever seen in my life....great stuff..he was flyin past all these Four Strokers....like they were slow pokes too..lol.
i dont know much about dirt bikes but hes prob the best rider ive seen on youtube...he moves that bike around as if it was just a regular moutain bike and he shift hes weight perfectly...great riding
Hearing the sound of the two stroke and hearing every little blip of the engine is pure bliss. I don't care if a four stroke is faster, a two stroke is just more enjoyable to ride.
@jeremybrown1942 sure. if thats a gear your comfortable with then do it. i ride trails around my house sometimes and its really turny and bumpy so i stick with second gear. what kind of bike do you ride?
JImmy RULES on a 2 stroker! That's a 125, hard to believe!!! It's like when Henry or Dowd used to show up and destroy all the 4 strokes on their 2 strokes several years back at the local track.

It really couldn't matter how much better they say the 4 stroke is...this video shows that NOTHING will sound like a 2-stroke being rode the way it was made too! Sex to the ears!!!!

@cdcoreyclark I think he changes gears, but I think he does it without clutch so there ain't no sound of changing (engine stays at high rpm's all the time) ;)
i almost cried when i seen this i have one o the last rm 125's in canada its 2008 rm 125 and i raced it one season then my parents pasted and i havent road in 2 years almost man i wish i could rip like that o man so sick
i don't buy dirt bike just for driving and having fun....as a mechanic i enjoy working on them and fixing them. let me tell ya 4 stroke is more expensive to maintain..... you need to know that 4 stroke have camshafts, and alot moving parts to be conected betwen crankshaft and camshafts..you also need to maintain cylinder head, valves, springs....
yea thats a good idea just to keep it fresh dont want to ruin your crank and cylinder from a worn piston and yea gear oil can become contaminated with clutch fibers so it prob a good idea to change it regularly
thats not true:) its not automatic , it has gear , but he is riding full throttle all the time its call " pinned " hes not letting the acceleration when he is changing gears
Anyone have an idea what sprockets he might be running i have an 03 CR250 with 14/48 and i feel like i have to shift to much. he seems to be in one consitant gear
This 2 stroke thing could really take off!! Amazing! This engines at least half the capacity and it clearly going just as quick or quicker than the 4 strokes, it sounds sweet as, anyone can rebuild the engine, cheap to buy. ;-) 4 strokes are easier to ride I guess?
i love hoe sooooo many people are arguing about 2 stroke vs. 4 stroke. the 450f and 250r are similar weight , almost identical power and size. the only difference one is a two stroke and one is four. they are both good bikes and what really matters is they are both fun as hell to ride. stop arguing and go ride damn it.
@themountain59 If you are in shape you are not getting tired? But it seems like he wants at least 2 more gears on the bike lol. The sound is making him looking faster then " if you would say he would ride hes 250f i guess. But hey who dosent love this , its pure awsomeness?
