Julie Cowart doesn't matter that it's not pretty, no one listens to Idina to hear a "pretty" voice, they listen to hear her pure power and raw talent and quite frankly, I'd take the likes of Idina over any modern "pretty" singer today.

I love Idina so much. She is a great singer and I admit, the oscars wasn't great but she was nervous, it wasn't a steady tempo, she had rehearsed it to death. It was understandable why she missed the high note. But this performance was amazing. It was nice and to be fair it was cute with the classroom instruments. I love Idina and I hope people understand how great she is.

Nirrini Exactly. She was actually upset when she heard that he messed up her name right before she went on so that's why it was a little weird in the beginning. It wasn't because she was nervous. I heard this straight from the producer of the show. kudos to her for pushing through.

Honestely, I think this performance shows off a lot of talent. First, that Idina Menzel actually sings, that the Roots is completely capable of writing, re-writing and adapting given musical scores, and the sheer creativity of Jimmy Fallon and his crew. I might use this in my class to highlight the work and training that goes into good comedy. Thank you !

This is probably the best I've ever seen Idina Menzel sing live...wow...her voice at the end reminds me of Barbra Streisand. Also, I think what's funny is that, for once, she's not just performing the song - she's enjoying it. Did you notice her face when the band started getting into it? She's amazing when she has fun!

And this is why I say that Idina can't do things under high pressure. When it's something relaxed and fun with Jimmy Fallon, she sounds FLAWLESS. Like, did you hear how much power those high notes had? She did an amazing job here. When it's the Oscars or the Tony Awards, she sounds like crap. She's a Broadway legend, and rightfully so, but seriously, just pre-tape. It'll spare us all some agony later, and show Idina at her best - when she's not stressed and feeling the music.

I guess those people saying they auto tuned Idina's voice for the Frozen soundtrack can go home now? She nailed every single note like the queen she is, at the Oscars the music was rushed, they cut off half of the song and she was nervous, that's why she didn't hit the last note as good as she COULD have as we clearly just saw. I'm so happy for her, she's finally proved herself, this is her first perfect Let it go live performance and wow just wow plus she is super adorable.

She's in a much more relaxed atmosphere, she's not being rushed off stage or have her name pronounced incorrectly. She's having fun and is confident she can reach those notes, because she can and is an amazing singer

I can't go a day without watching this video, it never fails to put a smile on my face! :) Idina is the cutest and her perfomance was great, especially that last note she had been having trouble with in her let it go live performances but she nailed it here and it's just so comforting and wonderful........but let's be real here, she's hit higher notes live so it's not that big of a surprise, Idina is the best!
