Absolutely 💯 This dude knows the business and how to be a lead and follow type of guy. Just wish he could have thrived here. I don't think anyone wished any of the Raiders players to suck this year, I know I was rooting for all of em to do great. Good luck Jimmy G!
@@DJDANGER2411I didn't hate on him, I was a hater of his fans. They don't understand the 9er teams he got carried by is NOT our team. This was never going to work out, regardless of how many times he says "I just want to win." McDaniels was a fraud and went out of his way to get "his" guy, while he threw more picks than TDs throughout his short stint. Not only that, he's just not a Raider.
@@zztop7306 I agree. Raiders defense was nowhere near the level that 9ers defense at the time. McDaniels dismantled a decent playoff team. Defense this year showed us we were really close.
Mad respect to Jimmy G for this. He had every excuse to complain to diss AP but he choose to be classy and honest. It didn’t work out but Raider nation will always respect this man. Thank you for everything this year. You are a true professional I hope you have a bright future with your next team!
I can’t say nothing but respect to him cause it takes professionalism at its most high to be able to do what he did, I hope he lands on his feet and continues to be a awesome leader
Jimmy genuinely looks healthy & relieved. JMD probably forced him & Tyree to play injured. Gotta love AP for looking out for his players & their health💯
For all the crap Jimmy has taken for his inability to stay healthy he is still a true professional . I saw him on the sideline cheering for Aden like everyone else he could have sat on the bench and just collected yet he and Hoyer helped Aden prepare for games every week. So as we say Jimmy once a Raider always a Raider he earned my respect no matter what beat writers say about him.
he may be trash on the field, but i still respect him for the person he is off the field, great teammate never jealous or salty of other people that are doing better than him instead he praises them and the team for doing a good job and keeps it professional never throws shade or anything, truly a class act player.
If he knew that he's not able to throw wide open passes, then the coach should have called for quick short slants. If no one open, just take off, run, and slide for some yards..
Jim is a great guy. He never fit in this locker room. He never did. I look forward to seeing him on a team that actually deserves him. What a classy, positive man; and a good teammate.
@cherylbrown2180 That's right. Personally, I think he's too soft for the locker room. I don't think either his colleagues or the coach understood what was going on with him, they're not therapists either. I really feel sorry for him he went for it the first time and wanted to get there he bought a house and everyone knows the next steps... and now he's back to square one... in my opinion the same professional situation as with the 49ers. I would hope that he gets another chance there and that he finds friends on the team.
@@mariaderossi9516i love how you say Jimmy is too soft when Derek Carr was crying in his presser last year after a game and left the organization after he was benched
The team literally carried everything. They broke down losing because of interceptions in the SB. Niners are on lockdown rn and their new QB can make things happen.
Jimmy should have played better in the Sb. He should have remained calm, but instead he panicked. We've seen Brock's weaknesses as well. Hope he can overcome those to help the team beat hot incoming Green Bay tomorrow..@@Kingwolfie
As much as I nagged on him he's still a team player and is pretty selfless. And managed to snag out 3 wins under McFailures is an accomplishment itself.
Wished it wouldve worked out. I dont dislike Jimmy. That man has been dealt some really bad hands in this league. But like all the other comments have said, he was a true professional and nothing but classy this season.
True professional ! Josh mc dooomas almost ruined him I think mr G gonna turn it around hope it works out for him and I wouldn’t mind him under center next season w a real offensive genuis not mc doooomassss
Coaches should have told him to scan the field 1-2 secs and just take off and slide for some yards. That's how Alex Smith became successful in Sf, Kc, and Washington.
Jimmy under his breath laughing saying to all the new comers should have left me in I know how to win and we would have made the playoffs , none of these jokesters every seen a super bowl ! Jimmy ty man move on get away from these rookies. Jimmy thinking watching Aiden was like watching a dog poop dont want to look but cant look away lol
How can anyone hate Jimmy? He might not be the best qb but he is always a positive guy. A great mentor also since he been in the league for quite some time.
People figured out Jimmy's pocket passing style in NE and Sf. That was same with Alex Smith in '06-'10. If Jimmy can adjust to Harbaugh's and Alex's rushing and sliding for yards style, he'd be way much better. McDaniels failed him more than he failed Raiders. Maybe he'll adjust to rushing on his next team..
Jimmy might not have been good but i feel that was mostly due to his injury mcdaniels shoulda had him rest up and had someone else start until he got healthy again
@@dragon-vg7zc McDaniels is one of the worst Offensive Minds in football he would never play to what a qbs strengths are he just wants them to follow what he does which ofc isnt a recipe for success
I think he needs a fresh start somewhere else. When AP benched him, he just became worse and worse. He doesn't express it because he has a great class act, but deep inside that probably hurts..
McDummy not only showed him up but also exposed him to his teammates and the football world. His confidence was destroyed and his nervous ticks and stutter returned. He smiles but it's fake. You just see those sad eyes and think he's been brought up too well. You could see in various shots during games that he didn't make a connection, how he often sat alone on the bench trying to start a conversation and the other person just walked away, and at the final training session you could just see that he felt very uncomfortable.
Yea, I see it too. I just wished that Kyle wasn't so hard on him and kept him to back up Brock in Sf. He would have done better in Sf than in Lv.@@mariaderossi9516
Everyone saying hes a professional / class Act... Like duh.. WTF if he gonna do... hes making an ass Load of $ for nothing.. Nobody should shed a Tear for him !
You know the players don’t have to support the team they play? Imagine yourself as a QB in the 49ers as a raiders fan. You ain’t repping shit, but you still want to be professional about it because it’s business.
This has to be the most disappointing player on the Raiders this year so many expectations from him with zero results. I’m so glad he’ll be gone and take his drama with him.
Why do you get mother feelings want to give him a hug say it's going to be okay and we'll work on your nervousness and stop wiping your mouth you already have irritated skin
Jimmy genuinely looks healthy & relieved. JMD probably forced him & Tyree to play injured. Gotta love AP for looking out for his players & their health💯
