Even as a blues fan (Birmingham) I felt the emotion, why wouldn't I, I watched Jimmy every Saturday on BBC. RIP sone people are too good for this world I'd like to RIPall my lost friends and family. The list is too long so RIP All my grandparents uncle Brian aunty Stella and the two most poignant friends. Lisa and Lewis my best bro. Who'd have thought cov city would ever bring a tear to my eye. The good lord works in mysterious ways. God bless. Cov does hold a special place being the closest city to me. I only support blues as I got into football as a grown man, my daughters mother's step dad took us to a game. I was hooked. A blues game obviously.
Still wonderful, and still a travesty that Jimmy didn't get a knighthood for all of his services for football, as a player, as a manager, and as most definitely as an innovator of the sport. I sincerely can't think of anybody more deserving, including the greats.
Hi Samsara, I am journalism student at Coventry University and I am writing a piece on the late legend Jimmy Hill and hearing from a fan would be great. is it possible if you could answer a couple of questions?
