Kobe Bryant really was a true friend to Jimmy Kimmel. He was on his show 15 times, and I could tell how close they were after that. It's heartbreaking to see how much he is suffering up there, but he was able to overcome it and remember and celebrate Kobe like he wants to.

For all who were lost, you can feel his hurt as a mourner, and trying his best to do kobe and his family proud. Everyone is used to seeing him crack a joke, and God bless him he still somehow managed it. I love this dude.

Still feels like yesterday when Kobe used to drop the detailed analysis on ESPN+ of the young players in the league. Not a day goes by where i dont think of him. In a way, he gave us a sense of purpose. Every time i feel like giving up, my inner voice says this isnt what Kobe would want and i immediately gather everything in my will and power to face whatever is in front of me. He made me better.
it still surprise me to this day at some of the celebrity reactions. Kobe has always been know as a lone wolf that is brilliant but drives people away, it's surprising to see just how many people he touched. Jordan's speech was especially shocking, I don't think anybody really knew how close they were until now.
