WOW!!!! 8 gang member leaders from the biggest legendary gangs in LA and one professional baseball player... That's school must be the most legendary of all schools in the country
I thought part one was good and you pulled a Godfather II on us with this one. This cat has a lot of info, too bad the younger generations are not jumping on your product. From most of the comments I see, many of us are the second or third wave after the cats like Jimmy. The age of CJ and KEV. We were either around and in things at that time or saw what went on as observers. We can appreciate these icons who were around at the beginning. We were all hard headed at some point, but knowledge and history Kev is bring us should be viewed by a lot more. Especially cats in the game. Kev, you may want to hit up some colleges and book speaking engagements if some of these cats are down.Especially the positive cats who are trying to better themselves and their communities. Let the civilians get the real stories from real people, not what the mainstream media deems as fact.
darrion yust ...I respect your opinion.....I never dislike Raymond we never broke friendship...I dislike like the terrorising of our people's...The same with Munson....He's still a family friend.....Thousands have died from what he started how as a black man could I like this..
Jimmy Lavender Peace OG Jimmy, ok I'm from NYC and know very little about Bloods. You mentioned that Bloods wasn't something that was on the scene when you were around. Let me ask you, because brothers IN NYC seem to debate alot over this. Can you clarify this please. Did all those gangs such as Bishops, Piru, Slausaan, bounty Hunter, rolling 20s, Athens park all unite under the banner of Blood to fight the crips and protect their areas because the crips were terrorising the area? In that sense, Blood would be a honorable movement. Is that why and how Blood started?
Kev Mac and Big U was on instagram live talking about this man was hating on Raymond Washington Lol.. But I feel the OG was speaking his truth on the man.I did find it hilarious tho when they mentioned him Lol.. Cause he was hard on Raymond Washington during these interviews. But to say the man was hating is much of a stretch!
I dont even believe its hating probably the truth. Cause the crips was bullying people even their own admitted it. So to think raymond wasnt a bully is funny
I seen this video already. It’s so viscous Imma watch it again until tomorrow night’s Bebop Watts premiere!!! Kev Mac be havin me on the edge of my seat.
The Black Avenues got their name from where they lived. Streets such as Central, Hooper and Compton Ave. I say black Aves for all those who aren't from L.A. there is a hispanic gang called Avenues. They have been around for a long time and have a real rep. Including being racist.
what up Kev. I seen the lil video u did of banker t. that was my mom's brother.. I showed her and my grandmother that video and it was a lil emotional but happy to c him on video. rip uncle Lonnie Patterson aka OG banker t from RSC
I may b able too.. I gotta contact my grandmother and possibly have her send me whatever she can. but I know for sure she has a lot of pics. maby putting together a lil something in his honor. I believe my mother said she knows you. her name is Carolyn Patterson
This obvious when you read tookie book. He said him and Raymond went to see munch and the avenues and munch talked bad to him. Blue rage and black redemption tell a lot.
Mannnn holdup!!! Kev Mac you coming hard with these real deal OG videos lacing our chucks with this history!!! You are greatly appreciated G!! Keep that real shit flowing mane!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Salute this channel debunking all that fake made internet stuff that floating out there for decades.People would be butt hurt to here these OG's about this banging history and foundation. It actual had a code of of ethics and structure to it and a complexity that alot don't no about the B's & C's .It's more than a blue or red rags there a chapter in a rich gang culture that start WAY before that. People think they no but really don't.
The Avenues were influenced by a Slauson who name I won't mention until I do my interviews lol. I never heard about Munson knocking out Raymond, but I do know that Raymond was at least Jumped on by them. Also I know of a different incident in which Raymond got knocked out on a street Corner.
Good shit Kev, as always! This is like the Hall of Fame of triple OG's! The ORIGINATORS! The history here is incredible! Back in those days your WORD was bond! That's part of whats missing today! For those that think this is glorifying gang bang culture, I look at it differently. If we or the younger generation can learn where the gang shit start going faulty or wrong then we can learn from that and make the necessary corrections! Salutes!
^^^ That's the REALEST thing anyone said on these yet... nobody is KING of all squabbles, takes real heart to come out alive... sometimes that aint enuff either... nobody bulletproof.... and your gun in your hand dont stop them bullets from coming back your way.
JaySavageTV He wasn't Avg..He was tough but not the toughest..Also fists aren't the only way u stay at Top..It's ur crew and what people are willing to do for u.AND Heart is everything and Raymond had it
8 ogs and a hall of fame shortstop (wasnt a big fan when he played cause im a cubs fan but always admired em) was the reason i wanted to play shortstop in little league
That's cool. I know you prefer that to come from the source, but I figured you knew something and might have a contact as well. Thanks for always keeping your stuff 100.
Another Hall of Famer Eddie Murray went to high school wit Locke Ozzie Smith. Don’t know if he went there too. Ozzie the reason I play baseball and can do a backflip
Kev Mac is The King of This Real G-Shit. No disrespect to the other Brother, but he interviewing OFF BRANDS. I told him it was going to ruin his credibility, but you cant tell anybody anything nowadays. Keep it coming Kev!
It all event seem related. One thing lead to the other. Was there any thing that could have prevented the early gangs? I grew up under Darryl Gate's LAPD (not that Compton PD was better). Not sure which gang was worse. Teenage gangbangers or the police. We were scared of the both. Also, thanks for bringing up martial arts. It was big in the 70s. Not sure if Bruce Lee and the TV show Kung Fu had much to do with it. They taught martial arts at a lot of community centers when I was young. I went to Bret Harte Jr high off 92/Hoover. Crazy times.
Kev, can we get close ups of other ppl Jimmy showed in the book like Forehead, and Spaceghost. Jimmy should make copies of these pictures, they are history.
Drew middle school probably was wild. Alot of future leaders went to my old church in Brownsville, LRBC. Big Smurf from Chester City Crip(later Garvey Paybacc). Big Combo from East Coast Lo Life from Lower Eastside. Myself from SSHC. Demel from thc Bloods on Pitkin ave. His highschool let his set of damus pose in their year book bacc then around 96/97💪🏾💙🔴
Max max.....Funny you ask how did I survive....Actually I started working in a liquor store right in crip neborhood....I made my announcement and that's all was needed....Now at 62 youngsters wants to kill any og....krazy
