I really did love how for all of Hugh's bumbling, it was always clear from the get-go that he loves Jimmy and that stayed consistent through the show's whole duration. Same for Judy. Made both of Jimmy's parents ten times more likable than Timmy Turners.
Love how, other than Judy reaching out to him, the sight of his dad being his usual self was actually calming Hulk Jimmy down Jimmy truly does love his dad for who he is

Vulture X nah i dont agree. if jimmys dad would get the spinoff, then he would just get flanderized like sheen did in his show. the problem with sheens show was the writing and humor, sheen being so blase about his friends and family and not to mention sheens portrayal itself (which was so unfunny and unlikable in comparision to how he was portrayed in jimmy neutron that its just sad) If Hugh gotten a spinoff by the same people he would likely has gotten the same fate Not to say that its impossible to write a show about those two but the way they did it with sheens show was the wrong way to write it.

Animation for the first 2 seasons are shit, but season 3 improved significantly. The ill-fated season 4 would've been incredible, animation and story-wise.
Bro i totally have forgotten about that dna productions clip. The monkey always said "hi im paul" and me and my older sister would always enjoy it at the end of each episode and say hi with him but when me and my sister first saw that clip we just froze like wth and just stared at each other. It really spooked us at first but then we were like lol
Hugh may not be the smartest but what he lacks in braincells he has in soul and heart. He's a good dad who's there for his family, his pie, and of course his ducks.

Hugh Neutron along with Randy Marsh, Hank Hill from King of the Hill, and Peter Griffin from Family Guy are my top 4 favorite cartoon dads of all time and I always had a soft spot for Jimmy Neutron. Hugh Neutron is a brilliant and great Jimmy Neutron character, The N Men is one of my all time favorite Jimmy Neutron episodes, and the scenes with Jimmy Neutron as The Hulk were absolutely stellar.
I feel like Hugh is an interdenominational being that is fully aware that no one can harm or mess with him so he spends his time messing with everyone else.
Mark DeCarlo is pretty funny as Mr. Neutron. Though for some reason, his voice is very goofy sounding. Part 0:42-0:45, sounds more like DeCarlo's real voice.
@@Dibious If you’re gonna delete ur comment, I’m gonna re-mention Steven Universe and AT so that other commenters know those shows are great too! SU especially doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves.
RGkong it was an episode where the car dealership he worked at was going out of business and they either had to move or he needed to find a new job or something like that. It’s probably just the lighting effects they choose for that one part
