I love that the kid who was smart enough and ballsy enough to leave the kid nation at the first opportunity is now training to be a doctor.

I love how Jon got increasingly shocked at how much of what he joked about turned out to be completely true.

The only sad thing about this is that the one reality show everyone prayed to God was scripted, Jimmy basically comes out and says "Nope, that was all real."

You already know Jimmy's going to be interviewing with someone in 13 years about his experience with Jontron

I actually met Jimmy in real life at work a couple of months ago. He was at the go karts I was running at the local resort while hanging out with some of his college friends. I talked with them for a while. I felt like I recognized him from somewhere, so when he got off, I asked him his name. He then said, “I’m Jimmy!” and his friend then shouted “Have you ever seen Kid Nation!?!?” My face then lit up and I shouted “OH MY GOD! THAT WAS MY FAVORITE JONTRON EPISODE!” I then got a picture with him. He was a great guy and it was one of the highlights of my summer.

I think Jon went in with an entire script of jokes and questions and got genuinely surprised and just started actually interviewing jimmy until the paper star bit

Kid nation was like one one of those choose your own adventure books and jimmy was the kid who decided not to go into the creepy house in the begining

I was honestly taken aback by how funny Jimmy was like, the fact that he was down for John's shenanigans and took to them with wit was amazing. Jimmy's a cool dude and I'm proud of him.

Jimmy's face at the end during the printing was absolutely priceless. The shock, the disappointment, the pent up rage, the anger, the disgust, the confusion, the boredom all rolled up into one. I love it.

21:16 This might legitimately be my favorite part of this whole video, that on a whim he just asked this question and Jimmy managed to remember it.

I can’t tell if Jon intended to drop that can or not because honestly they both seemed pretty shocked about it.

Dang Jimmy was actually a pretty chill guy. The fact that he even sat down for an interview with Jon says a lot 😂

I like how Jimmy starts off all polite, his dialogue rated E for Everyone, but by the tail end of the video he's comfortable enough to drop F-bombs left and right

It’s a shame that all the other kids died, but at least Jimmy survived to tell their story. RIP child city, AKA minor metropolis, AKA infant island, AKA Dead kid Desert.

Dude, I kinda want Jimmy to lend Jon the DVD’s and have him review every episode. Edit: I understand now that they’re all available on RU-vid (please stop reminding me). The way Jon mentioned there wasn’t much material to find made me think the episodes were kept from the public for reasons.

I still can’t believe they took a ghost town, that was obviously abandoned for a reason, by people who were arguably tougher than we are today, and just said “Yeah let’s throw a bunch of kids here to survive I guess for TV and lolz”

I also really appreciate the fact that Jimmy did not try to save face at ALL on the show's behalf, like he went all out; "The conditions were horrible, kids burned themselves, they drank bleach, there was an overflowing outhouse with 20 kids lined up outside it, the host was a total freak, they didn't even TELL me there was a prize..." THAT'S how you know it was bad, and that it was real.

"Surreal" doesn't even begin to describe this interview...

17:47 I can relate to this. I was 18 in Army basic Training and the "Porta-Potty" outhouses we had at a particular training site were all filled to the rim. Literally if you sit it would touch you. I went the next 7 days without using the bathroom and didn't feel any discomfort. I just didn't need to go until we left that site.

Not gonna lie, this interview is a lot of the same question repeated: "How real was it actually?" To be honest, I totally understand why. If I heard that stuff I'd just spend the whole interview trying to confirm it in disbelief.

God, I love this so much. I'm waiting for the day there's a headline, "Former Kid Nation star, Jimmy, found the cure for cancer." I don't know about y'all, but I believe in Jimmy.
