another vote for wallflower, it’s a beautiful song and a beautiful video that really shows a different side of both her and the rest of the band. her lyrics in it really resonate, especially combined with how she delivers them.

Wallflower would be a great choice. Whenever you think they covered all the musical grounds they could, they come around with just another facet. It's a beautiful song, different, but still 100% Jinjer.

She is a true superstar. I know they are blowing up, but they are nowhere near as popular and famous as they should be. She has it all. She sings like an angel, screams like a demon...she's stunning...she has a cute magnetic personality...she's a fashion icon, and she has the stage presence and audience command of a Robert Plant. Absolute legend. And the rest of the band gets lost in the marvel that is Tatiana. Especially Eugene and Vlad, they are really unique and talented musicians. Not to take anything away from Roman, he just doesn't stand out to me as much, just because of the genre. The new album is supposed to feature more guitar work, so hopefully he starts getting more recognition too.

I think the war slowed their roll a little. All 3 guys had to stick around and, if memory serves, work as either medics or cooks. Something like that. They were drafted into the war effort. Tatiana was in L.A. for most of that. The Ukrainian government eventually freed the lads and gave the band the role of cultural emissaries to basically go out into the world and represent Ukraine.

Yeah, Wallflower is a great song. About being an introvert, and the video is a metaphor for her relationship with the rest of the band. Also, consider 'Homeback', about having to flee their home town from the Russian military in about 2016.

This song took me about nine months to become a fan of. It was among the songs I listened to after “Pisces” that just didn’t click with me. One day, I heard the live version from the Melbourne show and the “BOOYAH!” from the audience turned me around. When I saw them in Charlotte, they did this song and, as soon as it got to that point, I joined in and thought,”Okay, this song is cool.”

Tati is a fan of reggae. The guys write the music, and she had been asking them to write some more of it. This was the result in 2019. Yes, Wallflowers is good. Title track to the most recent album. Vortex was the 1st single from it, highly recommended.

There isn't a Jinjer track you could pick & go wrong with, they are all just amazing demonstrations of talent. There are versions/videos for which one version is better than another, but even here you can't go wrong, just choices of enjoyment more to be experienced. Wallflower is a good track/video. Another video I like is the unofficial official version of Beggar's Dance which the video showcases the many perspectives of Tatiana's personality while the audio is a superb demonstration of the talents in the band as they play a Jazz arrangement of their song Prologue off the King of Everything album, Prologue being the opening track and Beggar's Dance being the end track bookcasing the album, as both are lyrically composed using just the hook lines of the other tracks on the album, one being a clean progressive arrangement and the other a jazz arrangement. For pure energy, you can't beat Outlander or Cloud Factory..

Good catch on the lip closure! Lips, among several other articulators, are exactly how one controls the tone when doing harsh vocals. The sound source very rarely changes at all.

I think many of us requested it when she did Pisces. I know I did. Pisces gives you a well rounded first exposure. This one explores her techniques and personality. Now for Teacher Teacher ( live crowd interaction ) for a first impression trifecta. There are lots of others as well.

You should try the at home recorded cover of "Territory" by Sepultura. Preformed by Lauren from Once Human, Taina from Crypta, Alice from Cult of Juno and Veronica of Life of Agony. Rachel, This is my favorite newer band. They are so good --- bo-ya!!! And I think Tatiana is drop dead gorgeousl. Is that sexist? Well, if it is then I am... Her vocal range is off of the chart good. Plus the band is also good.... There is a video at You Tube where she does her stage make-up. I watched it so I could hear her speaking voice, check it out!!!!!

I got to see them do this live just after the official video for it came out (fun video btw, you should check it out). They hadn't had it in their playlist, but someone in line said they heard them practicing it during the soundcheck, so we were hoping it was added. It was, and it was awesome. When Tati got to the "booyah" everyone shouted it with her and she looked surprised. After that concert she just started holding the mic out and let the audience shout it for her.

On a serious note...I also put my vote in for you to watch the official video for Wallflower. The song and video are awesome and I think you'll love them. The lyrics and video are about Tatiana's struggle with being an introvert in the very public music industry, along with her tendency to procrastinate and the pressure she feels from the other band members to finish the lyrics and record her vocals after they have completed all the music for an album (I might have mentioned all of this on another one of your Jinjer reaction videos).

You really can't go wrong with any of the official Jinjer videos live or studio but I thought I would also suggest a couple other videos which Tatiana fans like in particular. You wouldn't have to react to them necessarily although a reaction would probably be fun. The first one is a video she did last year for Revolver Magazine where she played a game called "Man or Beast" where they played metal clips for her and she had to decide if the vocal on it was a human or an animal sound they had dubbed into the music.
