Eugene has made me actually appreciate bassist, that dude plays it like no other metal bassist, just so gentle, yet so complex and even take the lead in some songs
Tati is a beast. She has AMAZING vocal control. She is changing between two vocal styles, ( not easy) AND jumping around and her voice doesn't shake or sound tired at all. THAT my friends is a trained voice. Good job Tati!!!
Teacher Teacher is really good. Usually i dont like metal like this but i dont know why but i cant stop listening to Jinjer songs. They all have so much talent
Well, you have witnessed one of the best metal bands of today (in terms of the sum of everything) and who is simply the best voice of a metal band today (men and women included).
JINJER - Words of Wisdom (Live) | Napalm Records JINJER - Cloud Factory (Official Live Video) | Napalm Records JINJER - Ape (One-shot Live from Mystic Festival 2019)
Funny thing with Tatiana is that her stage persona, the jumping and bouncing beast of a woman is a stark contrast to her personal very introverted and solitary self. Just like her many different vocals (really, you should do Teacher Teacher to see some next level mastery from Jinjer, the music is on point and she sings and fry screams and growls in such a variety of ways in a single song it's next level impressive.)
Very true! I've seen her in interviews and she's very soft spoken. The band is amazing! I love Teacher, Teacher. But also Perennial, I speak Astronomy and who doesn't love the Ape video???
Hey guys, Great to meet ya, Looks like you have entered the world of Jinjer and one of the most talented singers I've ever witnessed in metal, Shit, In music ever. The band is obviously amazing too but Tatiana is a beast that can blow ya away with shock after shock and then you start to realize how great she is each vid you watch of Jinjer. I would recommend Jinjer-I Speak Astronomy(official video) , The live version is cool too but that video is fucken epic!, Cheers and rock ya later
I so want to be able to criticize but this was a great reaction.😜 So was Pisces. People love Jinjer, same kind of fan base as BABYMETAL. The are knowledgable about the band and want to share how much they love them. This is such a good live performance of theirs, anything from Resurrection fest 2018 is also great. You should check out Ape off of Micro EP. It is a heavily prog. piece with many time signature changes. Loved your reaction.
Brian, you made THE correct face when the breakdown kicked in. First show off yours I've seen, loving on my favorite band in the land. More more more! 🤘😫
Told you guys. He he. I can see new fans in you two. \m/Teacher Teacher official vid next. Followed by I Speak Astronomy and Perennial off. vids. For more live , Cloud Factory off. live , Words of Wisdom off. live and Captain Clock resurrection fest live. That's just scratching the surface. I can and will just recommend their whole catalog. Jinjer is that great. Not a weak or bad song. Enjoy the journey. Cheers!
Loving the expression on Stan's face at the beginning. Hell both your expressions through the whole song. TBH, I prefer skepticism than blind acceptance - as long as folks follow up with their concert performances to see what they do for real. Frankly, I didn't shelve my skepticism until I watched a few bootlegs dating back to the days before they had a record label. But then I was a kid when Milli Vanilli were exposed so, I'm a bit cynical. Is the phrase "the voice" a reference to Dune? if so you aren't the first person to make the analogy, and it is apt - especially considering the protest song lyrics. :) As to time signatures, yeah they never stick with simple time signatures - check out Ape, I'm not a musician so I don't know what they are doing but I've seen it described as "never really chooses a time signature" haha. About the musical variety, check out Beggars Dance. It isn't a full-length song so I doubt you'll want to do a reaction to it, but it is worth listening to. It is the outro to their King of Everything album and just a fun little piece - half the lyrics are callbacks to the songs on the album using a line from each song.
Great reaction my dudes! Jinjer has become my favorite band and that’s why I’m traveling to Baltimore all the way from Norway to see them for the4 th time. I think you’re kind of impressed by both Tatiana’s voice as for the band,, good. I suggest that you guys do. Please a reaction of Captain Clock live at Resurrection Fest 2018, their you can see more of what these guys and gurl can deliver live. Cheers
All these reaction videos are just basic people who never heard of metal before in their lives because they listen to mainstream crap but then they realize that metal is actually amazing because Tatjiana absolutely kills it. Really there has always been bands that are this good but Jinjer are incredible and like-able that makes people start to like metal. If these people really had any taste in music they wouldve known about this band long ago. They started in 2014.
Definitely a 4\4. Syncopated but still 4\4. Tuned in for a little quiet B&S show reaction before bed time. No chance of that with Jinjer about. Wild performance!!! She looks so sweet waiting to go on stage at the start. Then all hell breaks loose. Don't feel sleepy now so I guess I'll watch some more B&S back catalogue.😁
You should check out their video of making the "I Speak Astronomy" video. She's a bit pissed at the director in the one scene and she gives him the sideways look like she's trying to figure out if she should eat his heart in front of him or not. She is awesome.
New tune Teacher Teacher, or go old school with Outlander. You guys have come around...they truly are a very talented band that write great songs, and what can you say about Tatiana...she is a metal goddess.
Hi guys! Here is the information so that you better understand what kind of band this is and who Tatiana is. So (big bunch of text :D): Jinjer is from Ukraine. This is one of the fastest growing band in the world right now - more than 130 concerts with full halls and stadiums on all continents (except Antarctica) last year and incessant tours this year (a new World Tour to release a new album begins in the fall) . Despite the fact that they are all from Ukraine, none of the participants ever speak Ukrainian, because they are from the Russian-speaking region Donbass where almost the entire population is Russian (there is a civil war right now that is supported by Russia on the one hand , and with another USA - there are two songs about it "Sit Stay Roll over" and "When Two Empires Collide"). All songs are in English only, but there is only one in Russian ("Желаю значит получу" - "I Want It I'll Get it"). They are: Tatiana Shmailyuk - vocals Roman Ibramkhalilov - guitars Eugene Abdiukhanov - bass Vladislav Ulasevich - drums Tatiana is a big fan of Amy Winehouse - she even makes a one tatoo in honor of Amy (you can also hear the musical imitation of Amy Winehouse at the end of the song "Who Is Gonna Be the One" )... And she also likes to listen to classic rock, progressive and NU metal, hardcore and deathcore, hip-hop and rap, blues and soul... She is 32 years old now. She was born on March 15, 1987 in Gorlovka, Donbass, Ukraine . After school, she entered the Pedagogical University and received a specialty as a teacher of Russian language and literature. She never studied vocals (only one month when she was a child - she quit music school because she was bored there) and did not train in growling and screaming, she only has a unique natural talents and abilities. In 2009, her friends from the young band Jinjer (was founded in 2008) were asked to temporarily replace vocalist Max Fatullaev who had left for the US until they find a new vocalist. But Tatiana brought such energy to the band that she did not replace the old vocalist for a few times, but remained forever and became the real leader of this band and the author of 99% of all songs (lyrics) . She has a big bunch of talents: she writes poetry and is the author of 99% of the band's lyrics, she draws arts and creates tattoo sketches, she can make tattoos (all tattoos of other members of the band are her works), she sews well (look her homemade dresses in videos "I Speak Astronomy"-official video and "Captain Clock"-live at Ressurection Fest), she does all her jewelry and piercing accessories with her own hands (she generally loves to do all sorts of stuff with her own hands) and much more. So, greetings from Kiev, Ukraine! Be happy, stay hungry and ride the Metal! Peace!
Check out the song Beggars Dance. It's on their latest album King of Everything. It's jazzy and smooth. I think this band could make an outstanding jazz album. They all have the chops.
Great reaction and your sound on the video is much improved by far the best of your videos. I see them this September on their first US headlining tour and am stoked. By the way my two favorite and easy to react to videos are Outlander (early Jinjer) and Teacher Teacher (from this year). Just an incredible band.
Great job! Very entertaining. I think you guys should just go ahead and dive in. You're going to be impressed with just about every song they have. I recommend you react to "Outlander" live. The video from their channel, Jinjer Metal Band.
Check out these Jinjer songs..'Just Another'..'Outlander'..'Scissors'..'Bad Water' (all smooth vocals in this 1)..'Sit Stay Roll over' (real heavy)...welcome to the Jinjer journey👍
Ok guys 1st off, you won't fry your vocal chords if you do vocal fry properly. Tati is able to go back and forth with her voice so seamlessly due to very good breath control and proper training. Not everyone can do this. And certainly not without lots, I mean lots of training. Her voice is her instrument. Just like the guys in the band, who are amazing in their own right, you can't just pick up an instrument and know how to play. She is a beautiful, talented singer. I kind of feel for the guys at times. She does take a lot of attention away from them if you are new to female vocalists of her nature. If you like them check out ARCH ENEMY. They've had two top knotch female singers. They tend to stay in vocal fry. But, in the band the BUTCHER BABIES There are two beautiful, women in that band with great voices. My son's loved the video for "Head Spin" and " Monsters Ball" when they first saw them.
If you want another live performance, check out Outlander (Republica 2015) (the official "live" one is a studio recording over concert footage, and it doesn't hurt that Tati looks sexy as fuck in the Repuiblica one, lol), and if you guys wanna dive in, check out Perennial or Teacher Teacher for some of their newer stuff, or Cloud Factory, Scissors or Words Of Wisdom for (imo) some of their classics. Good shit, fellas!
how am i the first one to thumbs down this garbage... i’m as big a jinjer fan as there is but these donks being able to monetize Jinjers greatness in this way... truely saddening... the rest of you “jinjer fans” are giving us actual fans a bad name...
@@yodaonthedrums 16/4 is a perfectly valid time signature. 99% Of the time you'd break it down into smaller bars but there's no rule saying you have to. You could write a piece in 144/4 if you really want to
Cool reaction brother please can you react to perennial or teacher teacher or sit stay rollover or cloud factory or scissors or i want it i will get it by jinjer please 😁😁
@@TheBandSShow cool and you want to know a crazy stuff tatiana doesn't even do the warm-ups before any of their live performance she definitely is not a human she is a metal goddess the whole band is made up of phenomenal musicians and every instruments are played with perfection 😁😁🤘🤘
They are as close to being like Queen as I have ever seen with her type of music. Incredible voice power and vocals, great songs, and a truly talented band, and a great passionate front woman. Queen still rules but damn they r so good. Great reaction! Seriously give Upchurch a reaction. His blend of country and rap is amazing! Try My Neck of the Woods or Ghost. Give IL Divo a try, check their Nights in Whitle Satin, a Moody Blue's cover, or My Way a Frank Santra song, and lastly, lol, check out The Hu a up and coming metal band from Mongolia, Wolf Totem, their choices of instruments alone are worthy to listen too.
Great reaction! You earned a subscriber! Here is the obligatory how to grow your channel with another rabid fan base- add "Nightwish" reactions - Ghost Love Score from Wacken Open Air 2013, you will not be disappointed. A great singer (different from Jinjer, but also very good). I would also highly recommend "the Warning", go with "Dust to Dust" from "LIVE at Lunario CDMX"
I believe the accurate term for this style is Metal Core. I haven't researched it but I assume that means what it sounds like - metal at the core but with a versatility that can go literally anywhere. Check out Beggar's Dance, the last song on their latest album. It's totally different and is one of the few songs that is not metal at all.
Everyone mentions this on pretty much every reaction to this video, but I still have to say it...that Tom and Jerry shirt is just...I mean it's cute, but it doesn't exactly scream 'rock God' 🤣😂
