Tatiana looks so vulnerable in this interview, and has zero ego, but has worked so hard and is incredibly talented. I hope she realises deep down that she is one of the greatest vocalists on the planet.

Agree! I'm not a big fan of their music, to me it's a bit chaotic and I can't feel the proper melody and composition there. But she has an extraordinary talent, no doubt:)
@dj-ff9su
@dj-ff9su Год назад
@@robwilliamson5178 Their style of music has changed a lot album by album, their newer stuff is definitely more complex and progressive however there are still songs that are less complex. I just love how groovy and jazzy they can get in some of their progier songs. I recommend checking out Outlander, Sit stay roll over, Dip a sail, On the top, Pit of consciousness, Vortex, Call me a symbol which are some of their least complicated songs.

Eugene and Tatiana have that kind of relationship... Eugene is more or less the band's official spokesperson and he was just trying to emphasize that songs like "Home Back" aren't glorifying war, infact it is the exact opposite. You have to be very careful how you say things in interviews particularly when it has become fashionable for people to call this band Nazis for going on tour in support of their country
@neilpatrickhairless
@neilpatrickhairless Год назад
What a lot of people seem to not realize is that the interview that inspired the song "Disclosure" has caused this band a lot of problems, mostly with Ukrainians themselves. So, Russian government is calling Ukrainians Nazi, Ukrainian public is calling them Russian sympathizer Nazis, certain American politicians are acting like supporting Ukraine is a useless endeavor. Eugene is fed up with it, and has more or less said as much in recent interviews
@neilpatrickhairless
@neilpatrickhairless Год назад
At this point, doing interviews at all is a nicety. If it were me in their position, I would tell anyone with a microphone and camera to get away from me and stay away. The band makes plenty money and gets plenty of recognition without interviews

This gives me all kinds of feels. Clearly it gives Tati and Eugene some feels too. The ongoing abomination of Putin's brutal war is endlessly traumatic for Ukrainians. Motherf*cker targets civilians and steals children from their parents. Biggest and most destructive war in Europe since WW2. I'll admit as an American I've been ashamed of my country for failing to support Ukraine the way we should. Thank God the House passed the Ukraine Aid Bill yesterday. War sucks. Sad to say, but peace through victory is the only way here. I'm seeing Jinjer in Milwaukee in two days, and I'd love to give the whole band a big hug of support. I'm sure I won't get that chance. Even if I did, after watching this I'm not sure they'd want it, and I think I'd be inhibited to share just how important their nation's plight is to me. Every day I listen to Jinjer and I watch news of Ukraine. Every day I pray for the safety of Ukrainians and for their victory over their tormentors. I can see they're weary and traumatized, and they just want it to be over so they can live their lives and play their music. I saw the other day Ukraine passed a law that all men age 18-60 must register for military training and service. Most likely that will affect the guys in the band. I'm praying for them. Slava Ukraine! Heroyam Slava! Slava Jinjer!

@OnyHairu
@OnyHairu Год назад
Eu meio que concordo com o Eugene, pelo que eu entendi, ele quis dizer que eles nunca fizeram uma música incitando/apoiando a guerra, e sim músicas aonde fala sobre a guerra mas num sentido de paz, semrpe buscando a paz
