THIS MIGHT BE one of my favorite Episodes so far!! ❤🔥EPIC BATTLE! AND I've been WAITING for our man Woo to pop off in front of people! DANG it was crazy. Didn't think Megumi.... I mean KANG to be so intense, and a baddy! lol What did YOU guys think of this episode? 💟
Loved your reaction as always. Honestly u have reconciled me a bit with this episode because I was disappointed by the fight between Jinwoo and Kang. Compared to the Manwha, it felt rushed and less intense.
I'm just slightly disappointed with the design not much but just slightly Sung jinwooo design just could have been better and animation is some scenes is just too bad like in hunter cha scene of ep 8 Its not consistent
That line about the shadow and the darkness keep it in your mind they really doing justice to this adaptation this fight was fire and we didn't reach the hot stuff yet Arise 🔥
@@AylmerRanCastielred gate arc, hunters guild mining team arc and Jeju iland arch are all awesome ones these 3 arcs are likely gonna be the core of season 2
That camera shot on Jinwoo's shadow with that score, it gave me the creeps, even in places i did not know i could get creeps. And I read the manwha. So that's saying something.
"I've trained S ranked hunters before" "Then I'd say your shadow stretches into some really nasty places and you'll probably get as strong as those places are dark." Please remember these quotes.
From a manga perspective I have to say, it is really cool to see him lose his emotions. In the manga it was never really declared that he is losing his emotions but this is awesome
I have read solo levelling some years ago and the asthetic is a bit different bt I'm also loving the approach and artistic modification with the show, nevertheless both are literally the same except some changes in visuals.. bt wait don't jump into conclusion yet this is just another overhyped anime.. the true drip of sung jin woo hasn't even started yet...
It felt like the animators were watching the reaction videos and flippin' us over. "Oh you find this new guy interesting? Boom he's a villain." "a little reunion filled with red flags? Don't get too attached" The fighting was great and the way he finished off Kang with "murderous intent" skill and used all his acquired abilities was so satisfying to watch. The sad little note that they tried to hide and brush over is when Jin Woo noticed a part of him is slowly dying like a flame being snuffed out, and those eyes. Makes you wonder doesn't it? I can't wait for the next episode.
Didn't think I'd enjoy this anime as much as I have, so I read the entire manhwa in two days bc I couldn't wait to find out how the story unravels and let me tell you guys you're in for one hell of a treat as the show progresses
I don't kno whether I should pity Kang or Megumi? Everytime Kang gets shown, he will not be remembered as Kang but as Megumi. And Megumi always gets trolled he is there in solo leveling as well. And, Kang is voiced by Inumaki's VA.
Fun Fact: In the Manwha, one of the criminals survived, and Jin Woo found out, so he dragged him into the boss room and fed him to the Goblins, before beating the Boss of the dungeon.
I am interested to see how they take this story, because the vibe is totally different from the Manhwa. In the Manhwa, they really lean into the video game aspect of it and make it about the power fantasy. While that is there in the anime, I think A1 are adding little hints everywhere to show that they might change things around a bit. The Anime feels less video-gamey? Not that video games can't tell a complex story. Like the fact that they randomly throw in a Neitsche quote. To be fair, that quote is thrown around with reckless abandon because it sounds cool. It could just be that, but them hinting at the fact that Power isn't free. You aren't just getting it for shits and giggles. The kinda power Sung is toying with has a grave cost and he is paying for it.
So sad that the anime is so slow, would have loved to watch one of my Favorit scenes Spoiler: when he gets his new license and the arrogant guy gets totally ignored😂
I don't like what they did with this episode. The fight scene here should've been way better than the previous ones but it's just on the same level. It seems like they tried to shorten it. They didn't even show how he actually got the stealth skill.
there's some cut moments. one of the prisoner is still alive his tongue has cutted and acting he is die so he can out there, but sung jinwoo knows he's alive bringing him to the goblins and then die, before sung jinwoo kill the goblins and the boss
Flexie FYI, In the manwha, one of the prisoners was alive after beating kang. Jin woo knew and drag him to the dungeon boss😂 sadly the anime didnt include it/subtle change! Wish it was in! However, eerything else in the episode is amazing! 😊
@@JustinStrife lol what? It's goes back to theme of the system making him lose a part himself, also shows how dark the solo leveling world is, they say what happens I the dungeon stays in the dungeon. And jin woo doesn't sympathize with killers. Also elevate the words taeshik as he was dying becoming one with the shadow. There is so much meaning behind that scene that was cut just cause you didn't understand it
@@Sung-RIZZ-Woo This>>>>>>>>> exactly bro ,wish they included it cuz I felt that it really helped the viewers or readers to understand that Rizz woo was gradually losing his emotions
Jinwoo not rule this World, but you don't forget 1st Episodes god (the supreme being)...... and think posible future 😂😂. Bi the way am not give more spoilers.
Please, please stop calling him "Woo". I enjoy your reactions but I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate if someone called you "Fle" or "Xie". Jinwoo is his first name. Please keep enjoying the episodes!
Fictional character, real culture and naming conventions. As most anime reactors are at least tangentially familiar with Japan and Japanese naming customs, they wouldn't call Tanjiro "Tanj" or "Jiro" or Ichigo "Go", to continue with your logic that it doesn't matter due to being a work of fiction. Being based on Korean material and with Korean characters, many aren't as familiar with the feel of the character names in Solo Levelling, but they shouldn't be treated any differently or lesser. Using someone's correct name shows a respect not just for the art you are partaking in, but the place and source of that material as well. (But, do feel free to continue to flippantly disregard and dismiss me. My solitary hope is that Flexie, won't.)
