This episode hit hard. I really can't decide which episode is the best. It has to be between 3, 6, 7, and 9. They're all so good. I think 9 edges it out, but damn this show is good.
Just to answer some of your questions: Yes Jinx made those mechanical butterfly bombs. Remember in ep. 4 a random old man with glasses held one of those while celebrating progress day. When she stole the gemstone and some research papers, she learned to make those. Also without spoiling the letter, that letter is from her family, a known region called Noxus. Also a little fun detail: In the end the bomb did not exlode right next to them. If you listen closely you hear a *ding* sound right before the explosion. That means Ekko hit the bomb away with his cane, and it makes sense since he's known for his baseball skills in the game. Could be they still dead? Absolutely.
Jinx made them, I forget which episode(s) specifically but you see a blueprint and you also see her tinkering with the butterflys. They were very quick glimpses if I recall.
I must’ve missed it! Somebody said she took some blueprints as well when she took the stone from Piltover. Definitely going back to re-watch that episode to see
Silco is definitely selfish but until a minute ago he for real thought vi just dipped out and left. Thats his daughter. And vi is a threat to his relationship with her. Doesn't make his lies not lies. But he also clearly isn't willing to have anyone separate him from his kid. And he'll lie to do it
Powders eyes are grey, Jinx are blue. On the bridge her eyes became grey again after the fight with Ekko. It's Powder looking into the eyes of her child-time friend. The smile is not evil in any way. It's Powder who made a decision and is fine with it. She decides to end it having looked on her friend one last time. Trying to take Jinx with her. After the shimmer. There's only Jinx left. Powder died on the bridge.
Jinx knows Marcus works for Silco. When she says "liar" while spying from the top of the bridge, that's when she figures out Silco has been playing dumb the whole time and lying to her. She figures Silco knows about Vi and the crystal since he's been giving Marcus orders without telling Jinx about it. I think Jinx made the firebugs to follow Vi around to see what her sister Vi would do/where she would go. Once she figures out Silco has been lying to her, she gets pissed and orders the bomb bugs to blow up on Marcus and his crew.
The firelights in Ekkos hideout are real bugs, they've always been around down there, just not in as large numbers as they are in his hideout, probably cuz of that tree, but jinx did also create bombs based on them, probably to frame the firelights.
I think it was ep 4 they had the mechanical butterflies and she gets one. not hard to think she see it and think how can I make this a bomb but just looking like the bug were they live.
I was like you, so stumped on who the firelight in the mask was. Mind blown when I saw it was little man. Man was crushing on Powder too so sad how things turned out.
one of my favorite episode! And you know how they show us Vi and Jinx fighting in the intro sequence, (where Vi punches Jinx and it transitions into 'ARCANE') (and potential spoiler but not really idk), I'm glad we don't get that in this season. Because seeing Ekko and Jinx fight, and that scene where they show us how they used to play that as kids, was already sad (and epic). I'm not sure if I'll ever be ready to see Vi vs Jinx.
They handled that fight scene so well! Still sad to see childhood friends basically try to kill each other 💔 I believe the old powder is still somewhere deep inside all of that major PTSD & Trauma :( Silco plays a major role into the person “JINX” is now becoming. Would I be able to handle a “VI Vs Jinx” and the answer is no because I wouldn’t be emotionally prepared to see that 😭
@@MillerReactz Indeed. They handled it so well despite not showing us Powder and Ekko's relationship that much in act 1. The only scene where they were seen playing or talking to each other was when Vander sent that wind up monkey warning when one of the enforcers was gonna search their place. They don't give us much. I'm sure many people missed that Ekko were there when they searched the place 😂
Jay says everything Mel says cuz Mel is always right. Everyone always worried about her "plotting in the War" when she's worried about exactly what Jinx is doing. making a weapon
Hey man, just found your channel today and have binged all your arcane reactions. You're a really insightful person, I definitely subbed. Also I totally understand your feelings about Silco. He killed Vander, helped shape Powder into Jinx and does some pretty awful things. And while there definitely is an element of manipulation to their relationship, theres a lot of evidence to show that he genuinely cares about Jinx. Silco and Vander are two sides of the same coin. They both wanted the same thing, independence for the under city and to fight against the oppression from the topside. Silco is definitely a bad guy, but I dont think he's evil. That's just my perspective though. All these characters are so well written. Keep up the great work man. Your channel is gonna blow up!
I love your insight on Silco’s character! I do respect the way he does treats JINX like a daughter & doesn’t like when anyone disrespects her. In the next episode I started to understand more about Silco character but I was beyond hurt on what he did to vander 💔 thanks for watching & joining the community! :)
Just wanted to say I found your Arcane reactions yesterday and ended up binging them in one sitting. Shame about episode 2 but great content, you got a sub, and I'm looking forward to episode 8!
Ekko has the ability to rewind time but his body still feels everything that he rewinded. In his in game lore, he had a crush on jinx, he and his friends would explore zaun and lots of times his friends would die so he would constantly rewind time to try to save all of them but there was one friend he couldn't save no matter how many times he rewinded time, and his parents work long, hard hours in a factory to allow him to live in piltover despite the fact that he loves zaun. There's a short story on the lore where it talks about the one time that he was able to have dinner with both of his parents, the same night he kept rewinding time over and over and over again just so that he could keep the happiness of being able to have a meal with his parents.
Fun depressing fact : Ekko (little man) had a crush on Jinx when they were kid to quote him: "I had a crush on you , until you start talking to the gun Idk if you watched My ennemy clip but you’ll understand :c Great reaction btw
Silco wasn’t playing with her. Everything he said to Jinx was genuine. He loves her and from his perspective Powder was found alone in tears, saying Vi left her.
That grenade was not for Ekko, nor was it to take both of them out. She has that slight of hand going, and she could have been sneaky about it. He saw Powder in her, and she was willing to go out on that note.
