Thats sweet!, 😃Thank you! no regrets! My grandma always said "they're only little once or that size once". Those are my most cherished years. I tell them they are the best thing that's ever been givin to me & from their daddy too. Even on mothers day they are told they are the best, most important present .❤ I"ll always love what they make for me of course. There some condencending judgements. This means a lot to me after that. 😃

I was a stay at home Mother & always felt that I never measured up to my Husband's Sisters, who were both career Moms or other Mothers who brought a second income...until one day, I had a total breakdown about it, my kids, by this time were older, not little anymore, but 1 of my Sons put his arm around me & said "Mom...thank you, thank you for all your early morning breakfasts & getting on me every morning for not finishing my homework & looking out the window for the bus, so us kids wouldn't miss it, making sure I wore a hat as I went out the door, even though I took it off as soon as you couldn't see, but still, you always insisted I wear one. Thank you for always having a smile on your face when I got home & asking ME how MY day went, telling me to get out of the refrigerator because you're making dinner & I need to wait. For sending my friends home because I hadn't finished my homework, for getting upset with me when you caught me on the computer at 12 O clock at night, instead of sleeping, for so many things that you were there for & I never told you thanks or I love you or you're the greatest. I never asked you how you were doing, what your day was like, So many times, just assumed, because, afterall, your Mom. He told me, if it hadn't been for me being there for him every morning, every night, every time he needed me, he didn't feel he would've grown to be the man I raised him to be & he can't wait to emulate the same LOVE to his children one day, by my example of what a parent should be. BLESSED!

i just wanted to let you know. i’m 14 and i completely broke down crying as i read this :). me and my mom barley ever get along but this made me think about how much she does for me and my little sister. thank you for reminding me :) and tell your son he’s very lucky to have you 💕

I stayed home, raised my children, while we lived on one income. This was difficult but the sacrifice was worth it. I was privileged to homeschool my children also. My mom died when I was only 5. While I had step-moms, I was never "mothered", but I was determined to read books on raising children and I became the mother I never really had. It was the best part of my life.

I love this. Unfortunately, my mother wasn’t very kind to me. Yea, she put food on the table, clothes on my back and a roof over my head but there was a lot of mental abuse that I endured. I now have a baby girl of my own and I refuse to put her through the same traumas I went through. I pray I am this kind of mama for her.❤️

I was going through a rough stretch. My Mother, old and drawn, came to me and said, “I will always stick with you”. She always did. 2 weeks before she died of Alzheimer’s she became lucid for 3 hours. Those three hours of saying goodbye and exchanging our love for each other was a wonderful gift from God. My grandma raised me from birth. My parents didn't want me and signed their rights away. I wasn't supposed to live past a day old but because of the Lord I am still here today. My biological mother abandoned me when I was 15,she left me at my boyfriend's house and just never came back. I thought I lost the only mother I'd ever have. My boyfriend's mom stepped up and showed me what a mom really looks like. She was there for everything,choir concerts,doctors appointments,the day her son told me he wanted to marry me,the day I found out I was pregnant,and the 3 days I spent bringing my son in to this world. My daughter sent me this video and I cried while I watched it, remembering all the times when my children were small. Those were special times that will never be forgotten. This song is perfect for me and my mom. I was born with special needs and I love doing musicals almost every show I’m in she is almost always in the audience cheering me on. Me and my mom got to be in the sound of music ( her favorite musical) 2 years ago. That was the best. She was Frau Schmit and I was Froyline Schmit. I cried in the song, and now sobbing as I type this. What a BEAUTIFUL song to remind us mommas that it’s ALL worth it, the big AND the small things, when it comes to raising children. I’m expecting my second baby next month, and it was the reminder I needed to hear, especially during this COVID time. I know the Lord will provide what our growing family needs, and I pray for the confidence and strength to flourish in my time of motherhood, especially now that I’ll have a little girl of my own. I’ll be adjusting a lot with this, but this song was the PERFECT way to capture what children truly see in us: beautiful examples to learn, play, grow, and love. This reminds me of all the experiences I've with my grandma from my mother's side... Whenever my mother and I would go there she'd tell the stories of my mother's childhood... all the mischief she did..... And I still visit her though not frequently. I just love all the stories she tells. And she still tells stories of princesses and evils and heroes.. And Even though I'm surrounded by reality of growing up,I still love them❤❤

I just lost my mom. I’m having a hard time cause all I can remember is her leaving. Hearing this reminds me of all the good times that are hard to remember through the pain. Thank you for this song 💜

Absolutely embodies my mother. To this day she's still an example to our children. Memories flash across my mind. My daughter says she wants her children to have the childhood she had. My grandmother's example continue thru the generations. Words can't explain the thankfulness to God. He entrusted me in her arms. Knowing that she'd lead me to him.
