lol, A little priest made me so delighted but sad because I realized if Sweeney got to raise Johanna, he'd be the kind of father to make embarrassing dad jokes and puns all the time

This was a very highly skilled high school performance!! The voices were superb. I kept forgetting it was high school!

"Now, this may be a bit *stringy* , but of course, it's *fiddle-player*." "That's not fiddle-player: it's piccolo-player." "How can you tell?" "It's *piping* hot!" "Then *blow on it* first!" Beautiful.

I was waiting for Pirelli's moustache to fly off.

I'm extremely critical of Mrs. Lovett's and this is one of the best I've seen.

I love the turn table. although expensive, it makes a show run more smoothly

The red scarf when slitting throats looks so good! I can't believe that isn't like standardized. I've seen productions that went full on fake blood packets and everything, and yet this one still looked even better. The way he moves the razor and the fabric floats, it looks so good!

Quite an amazing cast. Has to be the best amateur production of Sweeney Todd I've seen in all my 45+ years in musical theater. I am so glad they stuck with the minimalist staging. This is one show that can quickly become over cumbersome with scenery and props. And how wonderful having a turntable. Almost a must have for this production. Cast is in top voice, maybe a tiny bit stiff though. Overall, excellent show. BRAVO!

Are you _sure_ this is a high school musical? I started to forget that this was preformed in a high school after Act One! Such an outstanding performance!

The fact that the boy playing Sweeny had a mature voice really helped to make the fact that he's meant to be middle aged believable !

High school productions never get the credit they deserve. Sam was so talented he'll go so far. What grade is he in?

I love this Mrs. Lovett! I love how loud she gets and her facial expressions are great. She really embodies the character with how well she expresses emotion.

Even 6 years later, people are STILL watching this performance. It is wonderful, and I am such a FAN of the young woman who starred as Mrs.Lovett ... Just awesome. (Betcha most are Broadway bound by now)

I've seen the movie and I think these actors did better for "A Little Priest," they really had a great relationship with each other and it was amazing to watch. I love Todd's laughter!

Lord in Heaven. This Sweeney sounds way similar to both Len Cariou and George Hearn. Brilliant.

Extraordinarily ambitious piece to be tackled by a high school troop and you were REMARKABLE. Bravo to your director and to each and every one of you for pulling off this Masterpiece.

The cast in this play was brilliant. I thought the actors who played Sweeney and Lovett had really good chemistry. This is the best version of this play I have seen in a while and I really enjoyed watching this.

They were all INCREDIBLE. I literally don’t even know what to say, this performance was IMPECCABLE, ESPECIALLY for high school level. Fucking brilliant. I especially loved Sweeney and Lovett-they were great.

Omg Sam Snyder and Shelby Griswold did fantastic here! The only times I felt the acting was awkward was with Beadle, but he was still pretty good.

It's hard to believe that this was only a high school production; amazing job! I was just cast as Toby in an out of school production of this show, and this Toby, and well as the rest of the cast, did phenomenally.

I went to see this but I left early bc my sister thought something happened to her arm and she started crying so we left and went home and I missed to whole 2nd act. I'm glad I found this, even though it's not the same cast or stage, I'm glad I got to find out was happened next. Thanks for this!

Excellent production with amazing singing and performances. My only criticism would be that a lot of the actors seem to slip in and out of the English accent. That said however, as an actor I know how difficult it can be to sustain an accent for an entire play.

as a recent high school graduate who was in theatre my whole high school career, my first thought was of how jealous i am of their stage, the amount of actors they have, and their singing talent! our director never let us do musicals…partly because we couldnt sing but mainly budget. high school theater is dramatically underfunded, this production shows what can be accomplished with the right people. amazing, beautiful, bravo

John Adam Jovicich as Anthony has a beautiful voice. One of those richer and resonant tenors.

This is excellent but I need to take a moment to say that mrs. Lovett here is phenomenal. She gets all of the subtleties perfect.

WOW! I have worked in musical theatre for over 40 years, and am quite impressed by this production! This is one of Sondheim's most challenging & demanding shows. So, to see a high school take up such a difficult task and pull it off is quite impressing! BRAVO!

This is the best Sweeney Todd production I've seen.

All these comments, and no love for Antony here? Honestly, Antony, Todd, and Lovett, all have fantastic voices and great skill! Even so, the entire cast and crew did a wonderful job overall, especially for a High School! I'd even compare this to being on par with most high quality community theatre productions. Nothing of the Broadway level, but close, for sure. I really hope the principal players have found more success on the stage.

the setting of poor thing came out soooo nice! props to the set designer, and lights, and the choreo, and the actors, and props :)))

Anyone else notice how at the end when Toby comes out and sings pattycake that his eyes are darker like Sweeney Todd as though he were going to follow in the path of Sweeney Todd like a little foreshadowing to what may lay in his future

Yo who ever played Sweeney did fucking amazing like damn kid you need to go far, he did an amazing way of showing his friendly and his psychotic personality Also is Mrs.Lovett she did really great job betraying her love for Sweeney and her lack of sanity 😂

This. Is. Fantastic. Like a lot of other commenters, I'm struggling to believe this is a high school production. Sweeney legit sounds like a young George Hearn. Whenever I watch a production, I pay close attention to "Epiphany", "A Little Priest", "God Thats Good", and the finale....all of them were SOLID in this production. Glad I found this!

I just want to say (not even 30 minutes in yet) WOW I had to close my eyes and listen when Anthony was singing Johanna. Such a beautiful voice.
