What do you think about what Reddick had to say about what he has planned for the Lakers this season, along with their player development program? Comment down below! Thanks for watching! Don't forget to drop a like + subscribe if you have not already :)
Bronny will be fine he is a good defender in my opinion. The lakers need that. Also they will work with him offensively. He is showing me that he can defend.
He’ll be an NBA player if he can develop his offensive game. Though, until that happens, he can’t be relied on. He’s probably 2-3 years away IMO. And that’s fine given that he’s only 19 years old.
Yea he can't defend at all, did you watch how many guys blew past him or how many cuts he gave up.. smh y'all definitely just casuals and don't watch the game at all
He definitely got drafted cause of nepotism, but he can hoop. He's definitely a project offensively, but his defense is there, and I'm actually surprised how good he is at rebounding for his 6'2 height.
Bronny is exactly where a no 55 pick should be: raw and with lots of room and time for improvement. He has a 4 yr contract let’s see if he has LeDad’s work ethic. If he does he will be ready to see nba playtime in 2yrs
Max Christie was a 2nd year player with very little playing time as a rookie. Coach Ham was disappointed in the Lakers GM not giving him a catch & shoot style NBA veteran 2-Guard to play ahead of Max Christie off the bench.
After 5 of the last 6 seasons, the Lakers have been searching for the perfect fit. Maybe It's time to consider there could be a problem with the shape of the hole.
I like the direction that the Lakers are planning on heading in with player development and I have generally really liked what Coach Reddick has said in his interviews. The only one that I have negative thoughts towards is when he stopped the welcome interview to say that Bronny earned his contract and position on the Lakers as Dalton Knecht is literally sitting next to him and is actually the one who earned his way on to the Lakers roster and not Bronny James who we know for in the team because of his Dad LeBron!!
So basically lebron dictates whether or not the offense is ran through designed plays? If he is off his game, he would then not make an effort to still stay within the system?
Bronny defense is good but everyone is overvaluing it. I seen him out of position and missing his rotations. He has very active hands, which allows him to get some steals. If he was in the right position, he would have a lot more. He showed the potential to be a good defender but he’s far from it. The has been times where Bronny missed his rotation and allowed a bucket. Defense is a team effort, not just 1 on 1.
Correct. His defense is overrated at this point. He is a good 1 on 1 defender, but some of the players at his position who are the best in the game and fantastic team defenders
Elbow Series and 5-Out Offense Delay Series with Anthony Davis catching the 1st pass at the Top of Key instead ball movement stopping "random offenses" called matchup hunting
"Bronny has earned this". Bollocks! I hope he improves over time, but this is a disgraceful suck-up. I hope it does not affect his self-esteem and mental well-being later on. As of now he's not ready even for a Summer league. He's not an NBA caliber player. He's not a EuroLeague caliber player. A ton of work is left to be done. One can only pray his size isn't stopping him.
I like the video for the most part, I just can't believe that you would say that thing about the "nod" from Redick to LeBron. 🙄 It's crazy people saying he was aiming at Ham for a very simple reason - who tf is Ham and who cares about Ham to talk about Ham ?!!! 🤯🤯🤯 Now that's crazy, what you said is even crazier. Do you think Redick is such an idiot who's talking to or about his main player that way in public even before they actually started working together ??? 🤯🤯🤯 I just can't believe someone would think or say that and that's absolutely crazy. Like abso-freaking-lutely. Also nobody on the Lakers said "it's Anthony Davis' team", it's just a media narrative as they are pushing AD to try to "take over" the team and are frustrated he's not trying to do that. Hope you're aware those 🤡 media attempts are just a disservice to the Lakers as the result would be creating friction, which nobody needs on the Lakers team and everyone else needs badly.
JJ is aware they always lost, when they shat on the game plan in the 3rd quarter to falsely rely on bad ISO plays. I hope they stop doing that under him.
ESPN is not trying to "distract" you with Bronny. 🙄 ESPN is like any other company, selling what their customers want to buy and that is Bronny, among other things. If you listened to Jovan Buha and Hoops Today, you would have known that Bronny has the biggest support at the games as well, far bigger than any other rookie, even no. 1 and 2. You can just cry about it if you're jealous. 😏🙄🙄
REPLACE: Dinwiddie -> Dalton Knect Prince-> Blake hinson Reddish -> Bronny James Hayes -> 7ft2 Moses Brown. 1.Dalton is better shooter than S.Dinwiddie 2. Blake Hinson is 6ft7 better shooter than Prince. Quicker release. More confident shooter 3. 7ft2 Moses Brown. Freak athlete might be a better shotblocker than even AD. Can guard the jokics and edeys of the world. Relentless rebounder. Better finisher.
How many players picked 50Th or later actually belong or make it in the NBA? Bronny is high risk reward. Most players available that late have no upside at all.
Just give him 2 years and be shocked when his value as a player is one of the highest in the league amongst 3&D pointguards. You aint watching him if you really believe that
Real talk: It's really a waste opportunity. Lakers should have picked the most qualified and NBA ready players available for pick #55: Blake Hinson or Jamarion Sharp or Armel Traore or Mohammed Diarra.
