Well, I’m just going to say this I’ve been watching the NBA a long time and it’s been some players I thought that should’ve hung it up sooner while being paid max money only to see them have a resurgence in a smaller role the greatest example of this is Grant Hill he was one of my favorite players but those ankle and foot issues kept him out I’m sure Magic fans weren’t happy about that because they knew he was a beast on the court and with T-Mac it could’ve been insane. I think they both have points. Obviously Kawhi isn't trying to get injured and I'm sure he's doing everything to minimize and avoid injuries (likely to a fault). However, the fact remains he constantly gets injured and as a result he isn't helping his team to the value his contract would demand. You can't continue to think next year is the year he can play most of a season. Given his history you have to expect this is what you get. It's sad but some people are injury prone. Just like some people get lucky with genetics in terms of athletic ability, some are unlucky with genetics for durability. Unless some story breaks where he is neglecting his body (which I don't believe is the case) it's not his fault. It's just how it is...

JJ is right. I feel the frustration from SSM. I knew KL was done on his career as a constant super star after his exited from the Spurs. They wanted him to play, but he knew his body could not keep up. His body just can’t keep up and it’s sad. It doesn’t matter how much he rest, his knees are done.
