As a Celtics fan I gotta be unbiased and say. This isn’t as bad as everyone says. This reminds me of when we hired Brad stevens and everyone said it was terrible. I honestly think this will be a decent hire for LA.

People just love to give their biased, uneducated opinions. JJ knows basketball, and I think they're making a good choice given their options. It's a bit of a risk, but it could certainly pay off.

brad stevens built a college basketball team and took that mid major team to 2 straight title games. prob was a half court shot away from winning. JJ redick is a PODCASTER with ZERO experience of even assisting a head coach at ANY level.

Any player over 10 years in the league has enough experience to be a coach but being a top tier coach is a special talent that either you have or you don’t. He clearly already has the ass kissing the owners and star players side of the job perfected 😂 let’s see if he can recruit key role players and call the X’s & O’s under pressure

JJ knows basketball better than at least half of the coaches in the NBA. It's a risk since he's never coached before, but it isn't as terrible as everyone is making it out to be.
