With how quickly Danny Green fell off trading for Schroeder was the right idea. The 21 team was second in the West before Bron got hurt. Had injuries not derailed the team they would have made it to the Finals again, though I'm not sure how they would have fared against Milwaukee.

There’s a reason former players get hired as coaches with 0 coaching experience. There’s no degree for coaching there’s no certificate for coaching, it’s simply do you understand basketball, can you teach it, can you manage the game. I think having 15 years or so of playing experience (including playoffs) plus obvious strong basketball IQ more than qualifies him. Now does that mean he’ll be a great head coach? No. But to downplay the man and say his resume is coaching his son’s team is ridiculous. He got hired because of his career in the NBA and his basketball knowledge. Nobody gave a shit about his elementary basketball coach experience.
