I know she says “Don’t yuck my yum” when it comes to foods most people dislike or are unwilling to try, but that looks absolutely amazing and I’m jealous😭
Most of the time doe it's just people not wanting the office to smell like seafood all day.told a coworker u wana eat fish fine, but don't nuke it and leave the office smelling like the sea for the next 4 hours.cus I work seafood department and for all the regulars who start hitting us up around Christmas and new years, you'd realize most really fuck with it but not the smell.
are you implying that the food she makes don’t look good to you at first glance? 🤔 that’s new and different for me because i grew up eating these foods so to me they always look the most appetising❣️ i love my culture (and yours too)
@@milkyway6021 everyone’s culture is different so if someone grew up in western culture foods. caribbean you name it. seeing different foods that they’re not used to will not necessarily be appealing to all. Just a natural human reaction. I don’t think ppl deliberately want to find other foods unappealing.
That *people with only Western culture exposure* wouldn't think is good at first glance. There are many billions of people in the would who think this is normal
@@charlietian9843 its not only from western culture. each culture finds one or so foods from another culture as "yuck" at first glance. don't be bashing on western culture
all those food businesses must be crying about how they missing out on your cooking talents now, you go sis. This looks freaking delicious and I love all the different techniques you use during your cooking process too like the julienne cutting technique.
That looks so delicious! You are such a great chef and it’s really nice to have a cooking channel that exposes you to the cuisinesof different cultures
I think it's so helpful for the more sheltered people of this world to watch videos like this too if they don't get to or can't afford to travel the world yet. It's really good to build an open mind, and become more accepting of sharing diverse cultures as one :)
Asian food is the best food without a doubt. Usually a plate like that will cost about $15 though, which is pretty expensive. Of course, money ruins everything.
I'm not Korean but I've had jajangmyeon before and seeing the caption i was like "what can be better than jajangmyeon" after seeing how it's made i agree with the caption 😂❤
What Korean dish would you recommend starting with? I can’t have gluten. I’m a good cook. I grew up in an Italian kitchen but I’ve been sick so I haven’t been cooking. What dish is a good starter? Love your content! Watching people eat is food porn because my diet is so restricted.
Maybe you should try japchae. Growing up, my Korean neighbors made it for us. It uses clear sweet potato noodles and not flour based noodles so it’ll be good for your allergy. It’s not spicy but sweet and savory so a lot of people can enjoy it. The most difficult part of making japchae is there’s a lot of chopping, which is more time consuming than hard. Hope this helped!
Anything with rice lol rice is actually gluten free, but if you still want some noodle dishes there are sweet potato based ones, mung beans, yam etc those types of noodles would usually be available in Asian super markets and a lot of them are kinda translucent too. So you can still eat and have the flavor of Jjambbong but probably in a different texture
@@NoName-dx1no gluten free is always a strange texture.😂 I just find that my gut prefers Asian flavor above even Italian food. And rice is good for the gut so I have it almost daily. I’m trying to add more flavors to a really restricted diet. I will go check out an Asian grocery store. I’ve also read that they can have some of the best seafood also. I’m broadening my horizons with food. I hope. Thank you!
I've had jjajangmyeon before & although I liked it, it was a bit greasy for me, I haven't had jjamppong but I think it would be my preference cuz it looks spicy & comes with the seafood option, my fav combo❤️
I am just so grateful for your content, and all of the stories, and life advice you give ;) My korean dad divorced my white mom when I was really young, so I am so happy to see this korean culture that I missed when I was younger. thank you ♡
Most times i forget to like your short clips that i go back again to give my like (y) ending having to watch you cook great food! So famished going thru your clips 🍲
I’ve been binging all your shorts and I have been craving Korean food since! I’m so sad that I don’t know the names off all the dishes I want to try in order to look them up at a Korean restaurant near me.
I am in love with Korean cuisine and it's flavors! I tasted kimchi once when my friend brought it in her lunch box in college and I couldn't forget the taste for days, I craved it so much that I had to buy a jar of it. Now I can't go without making korean atleast once a week XD. PS: I love your videos!
I don't know what it's called in english but I love and hate your vid at same time. Love cause it's so good, hate because I'm usually watch it during my fast periods and now I'm starving even more
