I almost cried when she said she was done. Also when she said that her fans were the best part. She changed the lifes of many and gave me my childhood in one year (I started and finnished in January)
The book will NEVER be closed on Harry Potter. Not while we keep the magic alive in all of us. I'll never forget reading Harry Potter for the first time when I was 5 years old. I'm now twenty and I still feel the power of it everytime I open the cover.
I have been so touched by this story throughout my entire childhood, with the books, to my late teens, with the movies, that just hearing the music in the background bring tears to my eyes. I don't have enough words to explain how much the Harry Potter world means to me, it is a huge part of my life, and it will always be with me somehow, for that I want to say thank you Jo Rowling.
i can remember a boy who told me, "Please never ever ever kill Hagrid or Dumbledore or Sirius.."- oh, i got teary-eyed in this part.. i can remember crying hard when Sirius and Dumbledore died... I can't imagine how hard I'd cry if Hagrid also died...
I tried REALLY hard not to be a HP fan. Whenever I came across one, I said, "Meh." When I saw the trailer for Deathly Hallows , I said, "Well, that actually seems kinda cool." I read the Harry Potter series and saw all the movies. I now am practicially in love with the series to the point where I would go to my school library and check out HP books over and over. The films and the books may be over, but they are still with us. Harry Potter has revolutionized this generation. LONG LIVE HP!!!!!!!
This book crushed my heart. It hurts me to think about those who died, even if they are fictional. I grew up with them! She just ripped my heart out, but I love this series... I just don't know if I can reread them after that. lol
I've been reading it since I was younger than ten and I've read them many times over the years, always appreciating something new. I think the magic of the books is that it offers something to every generation.
Disagree. The 7 books were impeccable and thought provoking causing both young and old to take an active role in reading and considering the literature. Writing a hypothetical 8th book would be upsetting since there is no logical place for it in the series. I don't want a chance for her to mar such an outstanding record
i think harry potter is the most genius thing ever writen could you amagine what a fantasie you need to have to come up with a story like this. i mean some part of the first book are inportent for the deathly hallows it is like she had the deathly hallows in her head when she started writing the folosipher stone
nyongtory4e "Harry and Ron utterly revolutionized the Auror department, and Hermione, well, I think she's pretty high up in the department of Magical Law Enforcement." Hope that helped :)
the american covers are not nice looking . i like the british/canadian versions better. and i certainly don't like the adult book covers. but i need to go home and collect my books from my parents house. i can't let go
