The very first thing was wrong yin and yang blocks I am less than a minute in. A yang block is a block with your near side according to your feet that turns your shoulders so the blocking arm is in front making it impossible to use your other arm that is what is yin about it. A yang arm allows your other arm by retreating on the far shoulder. So a pak sau or inside hand block can be done with your guarding hand to the rear yin or if it's a strong punch you might be forced like with hooks to use a yang block and use more leverage but now your other arm is waiting instead of used.

That is not entirely accurate. Dan inosanto Jeet kune do has its own particular lineage... Non classical wing Chun or renegade Jeet kune do it's tight by a select group outside of the inosanto line. Jun fan Jeet kune do or JFJKD is what Bruce Lee taught. people don't understand that Jeet kune do is a martial philosophy that literally has no fixed movements and no forms or inherent patterns. to say one must be certified to teach Jeet kune do is as ridiculous as stating that one must be certified to breathe their own particular type of air. To continue with the metaphor, we is martial artist breathe our own air. When we train in the philosophies of Jeet kune do... We are expressing ourselves and finding our own path within the martial arts. One's path in the martial arts will always differ from another's path because self-expression is different for every person. If one chooses to obtain certification in Jeet kune do under the inosanto lineage then one must seek out one of their certified instructors. If one wishes to practice the philosophies of Jeet kune do, one must simply understand that in the martial arts, one must learn to freely Express themselves.
