Did you end up adjusting the brake lever? I maxed mine out and unfortunately still can't get it to a comfortable (low enough) height with the JNS lowering bracket. wondering if you just decided to leave yours maxed out or if you found a solution past that?
Sir can u tell me if u are getting much on off throttle pop from your Delkevic exhaust? I have the 9" carbon fiber and I'm getting some. All clamps are torqued to spec too. Delkevic told me if I wanted to upgrade to the longer like yours, it may help. I appreciate your feedback!
I get a little every once in a while but not so much as to be annoying. Mostly before the engine is really hot and then mostly using engine compression to slow the bike before a stop sign or light. I’d say it’s an acceptable amount of popping. With the baffle out, it can be quite startling to passersby though.
Seriously, you had to drill out the holes to use the factory pins? And they didn't provide compatible pins? I see that JNS even linked to the SwankyCat review where he resorted to using a mallet to drive them through. Either way, sounds like they're out of spec - that would be a deal breaker for me. Glad you got them sorted though - looking forward to the ride review once you have everything dialed in. And that was a good PSA about using extra caution on those welded nuts. What a nightmare that would be if one of those sheared off. Would be just my luck, given my track record with cheap torque wrenches (though I've learned my lesson)
Yeah. They’re a couple of thousandths under. Some folks have speculated it’s the powder coating but I definitely cut metal to get the pins in. It would be kind of a deal breaker if there were any alternative lowering brackets out there.
@@SuburbanPathfinder I've been running the Ebay knockoffs and they are only half the price. Dimensions seem pretty close to these. Keeping a close eye on them but so far so good.
No. Not really. I haven’t taken any really long rides since changing them but I’ve taken a few hour long rides and I haven’t noticed any serious vibration.
