Jor-el came to Smallville in 1961 and had a love affair with Lana's great aunt Louise. I love how cinematic this episode was. Very cheezy, but I still loved it and it made sense in the end. (Remember: This is NOT Clana!)
"Remember this is not Clana." You're darn right 'bout that. Jor-El posthumously promised that their love would live on into the next generation. Lois & Kal-El.
actually no, his love to LOUISE, Lana's great aunt made that promise to CLANA remember Lana did tell Clark that "they have known what TRUE LOVE is even if for only few days" JUST LIKE CLANA, they KNEW what TRUE LOVE IS even if the SHOW AND THE COMICS RIPPED IT FROM THEM!
I hated the way the writers ended the Clana relationship in "Requiem". They should've thought of something else warmer. But then again this is "Smallville" we're talking about. LOL! And what I said before is wrong. Jor-El & Louise's love is CLANA & CLOIS! Remember what happened in "Crusade'? That lightning bolt struck in front of Lois's car to veer her off the road and into the cornfield where Kal-El/Clark appeared. Clana & Clois are both fateful romances.
