Watching him play, you would have to think we've got something special in the making. Elite goal scoring abilities with physical play. Sounds a tad like Ovechkin for me. Not saying he's the next Ovechkin, but I can see his ceiling being similar goal scorer in the NHL and contending for the Rocket Richard trophy throughout his career.

It's not like Kemell plays in a top team in a really great line and just getting points for free. JYP is in the bottom half struggling for playoff. And Kemell is the one who is driving the line. He is an extraordinary talent for sure with better point avg than Barkov at the same age, perhaps the biggest talent ever to play in Liiga?
he did 17pts en 15games till the month of October in the liiga. Barkov did 16pts in 32games the year he got drafted in the same league.. Scouts that put him further than 2nd in the draft rankings are the same scouts that would rather take Hischier before Elias Pettersson and Cale Makar... This kid did the unbelievable in the liiga. And the worse part is he did 18pts in 18games ALONE. he is the best player of his team by far and he is the youngest..
