If they offered a place where people could come and sew, in store, that would be awesome! We can’t all afford sewing machines at home and it would offer people something they can’t find anywhere else.
Absolutely right! We have sewing machine from Walmart. Wife only used it once. With all the textiles and cutting machines. Forget it. No place for all of it.
Do you mean like a rental service? Come in and pay X amount an hour? At best (to my knowledge) the store in my city had sewing classes that you could take/sign up for, but I don’t think that’s what you were talking about.
@@indianajonesprincessleia You’re right, that’s not quite what I meant. I thought if they provided sewing machines for people to come and use where you pay for 2 or 4 hours, maybe the day…I think it could be a quiet space where people could come and and sew to their hearts content. Things are tough these days and those who know or are interested in learning how to sew their own clothing or other items for the house or to start a business, I mean who knows? It could truly be beneficial for lots of people and I know others who would be interested in something like that as well. Joanne’s has every supply you could possibly want or need so why not provide the space to conceive beautiful projects and complete them? It could be a win-win situation. Btw, love your screen name! 🙂
@@codelessunlimited7701 Yes, a place to store your project and machine would be great too! I mean there are a lot of possibilities here! On top of being sad to see yet another company go bankrupt, I think it could really serve a lot of people’s needs!
