This may or may not help Emily, when I was seeking employment, 9 out of 10 employers didnt even reply, rejection or otherwise. Dont get down, its hard, youre doing the right thing

I am applying for a graduate job now. I am too depressed, and I felt heartbroken for the whole process of applying. I just want to say it is the first video I saw from you, and it definitely helped me to feel I am not alone, and it is okay, and it will be better. I graduated with my degree in the spring and had similar struggles. I always knew networking was important but found out through the job application process how important it really is - especially in creative fields! Post-grad can be such a wacky confusing time but you got this! Sending good vibes your way :)

It's a dog eat dog World and you're applying for jobs in one of the biggest Cities in the World..... Keep trying, something will come up. Good luck to you :) Have you thought about agency work? I worked in the City for 19 after leaving the Army and worked for a big Company, as a Manager, we hired many Agency workers and because a lot were so good, we employed them full time. Just a thought.

Firstly there is no such thing as a graduate job, just being a graduate isn't enough. In the uk the white collar world is dominated by social class nepotism and connections.

the internet is a disaster for employment it takes all the effort out of applying for work and employers get swamped with too many applications so end up hiring in house and friends of current employees
