I love when countries don't sing just in English. Even though I don't understand the language, I feel every word. Well done Hungary. And good luck from Spain
The main reason why I began listening to Eurovision 2 years ago was to hear music in different languages. This year seems to have many English only songs. I don't mind English/different language in the same song.
@@SzJF last year Melovin couldn't speak English but still he sang on english. I believe that if Joci wants, he could sing on english but this is 1000000 times better!
For those who don't understand the hungarian text: My father raised me like the wind Blew silently, sang, told stories that way He lived where the end of every road was Even 1001 years seems little for a lifetime I can hear him, his heart, through the strings I can see him on my own face as time’s passing I’m proudly sharing his beliefs Out of 1001 songs, this is the only one that I keep singing Old days, beautiful days Fond memories He calls me and I run up to him It was nice to play like this Old songs evoke him I can still feel the sunshine I can still hear the wind singing I can still hear him in the sound of the wind He used music to brush off my sorrow What I can offer is only that I belong to him And to my son, I can proudly say: He’s my father and here’s my home Old days, beautiful days Fond memories He calls me and I run up to him It was nice to play like this Old songs evoke him I can still feel the sunshine The wind blew me a lullaby to sweeten my dreams The wind blew me a lullaby, I can still hear it
THIS IS WHAT EUROVISION IS ABOUT. I’m so in love with this song; I hope it won’t get robbed. Countries that choose songs in their native languages are the ones to applaud, for me. Joci Pápai did it again, and I love it henny
Agree, I love the Dutch and Russian songs but after searching the english lyrics from this song. Man o man this is my personall winner from 2019 Idc if he wins the ESC or not. The song is great and thats what its all about. Greetings from The Netherlands.
I don't understand Hungary 's language. But the song touched my spirit. I want to cry when i listen his voice. That is real music. Because the person feels the real music with heart and spirit. Good luck Hungary. Love from Turkey🇹🇷 My favorite songs are from Azerbaijan, Hungary and Italy.
@@GenomancerBot You have your own opinion, which is fine, but just because (I guess) you are a rasist, who doesn't like Joci's voice, it doesn't mean he is not a "real hungarian" or a good singer. Actually he is one of the most popular singers in Hungary right now, and it won't chance just because he wasn't sucessfull this time in Eurovision.
Greetings from Poland Hungarian brothers!😊 Polak, Węgier, dwa bratanki, i do szabli, i do szklanki! - Lengyel, magyar - két jó barát, együtt harcol, s issza borát! Great song, 12 points from Poland!😀
@@sandydennylives1392 i know origo... and i really loved it but when I heard that he was going to participate again this year I wanted to hear the song and for me it's a rare moment to hear a song for the first time and to immediately like it, but when I heard the masterpiece, from the firsr second on Inwas like "this is way better than origo" I just love this song (you have to know that I heard origo like million times and I can't listen to it anymore, i just heard it too often😅)
@@thombogd1022 It's just not growing on me, but I'm not darning it just yet; the la la la 'chorus' takes some getting used to. I feel this comes from his B drawer at the mo.
Dude idk if it's just me but this song can win, people still didn't get it but the harmony and the melody of this is amazing. 12 points from Portugal ❤️🇭🇺🇭🇺🇭🇺
I dont understand even one word but i am crying again i dont know but this man makes me feel every feeling in song i hope you win this year love from 🇹🇷🇹🇷
Should've gone to finals, this is by far best vocals of all eurovision this year and I've heard in years. I'll look up more of your music. It's so beautiful
@@zcs1628 I think the main issue is that society is gradually forgetting basic human values of duty, honor, sacrifice, making people overly self-centered. Without that you cannot really have a family unit with happy children and consequently good future for the society! Hungary and Poland we are brothers always, working together we can do something progressive for Europe :)
Z Cs so is femininity being weak and masculinity being strong? Then by this logic female gays aka lesbians are strong, right? 🤔 but what about the bisexuals? Not to mention asexuals and trans people
I like the most when the song is about something, has a beautiful melody, is not shouted and well sung, it so happens that this song has it all. !!! Greetings from Poland !!!
I'm so glad because I can hear my mother language in Eurovision 3 years in a row. Az én apám became my favorite hungarian entry, the lyrics just so personal to me. I think Joci will melt a lot of europians heart again. In my opinoin he is more mature artist than two years ago. I'll be proud again when I see him on the big stage. ❤
I'm listening to amazing songs in eurovision that not even qualified to the final and this is another one. This song was one of favourites its sad... Amazing song with your language respect from Portugal!
I feel every emotion in his voice, even though I don't understand a word. I have tears in my eyes everytime I listen to this. Best of luck in Eurovison, much love from your romanian neighbour ❤️
i am in love with Papai he is so good😃This song is one of my favorites. The other song from him is also verry beautiful😍The song is favorite by my whole family. We listening it a lot, and beautiful language . Much love from The Netherlands💕
OMG I just read the translation of the lyrics. It is so touching, my 10 year old heard the song with me this morning and even though we couldn't understand a word, my so started to cry and told me he was touched. Well done Hungary..
This guy is raising the level of Eurovision so much, sometimes i think Eurovision doesn't deserve these kind of talent. Only lights, Versace's dresses and sloppy lyrics in English. I liked Origo a little bit more, but this song is so special. Congrats from Spain to Hungary for sending someone so authentic
This song just makes me feel so nostalgic, emotional, magical, moves me in so many ways, and I don’t even fully understand the lyrics. Just the vibe of it is so beatiful... I’ll vote for this for sure! Joci, you belong in Top 3 ❤️ Much much love from Poland 🇵🇱
Absolutely beautiful ❤ Joci (along with Duncan) is probably the best emotional performer of this season, he really transmits his feelings through his voice. The melody is just as beautiful as the lyrics, I really hope Europe does this justice and juries don't bring down this magical song like they did with Origo. Good luck Hungary, I want to see you win the contest sometime in the next few years
I can’t believe this song didn’t qualify for the finals, i thought it was one of the better songs in this years eurovision. greetings from the netherlands🇳🇱😘
It's a very beautiful song! Please listen to this to the end... 🙏 One of the most beautiful songs in the Eurovision this year! 😍 Love from the Polish heart living in Sweden ❤️ Good luck! 🍀
This song grows on you more...and more...and more.... It's the part of that whistling sound and the ..na ne na... and clapping along....SO CATCHY ! LOVE this !!! Lots of Love to Hungary & LOTS of Luck from The Netherlands ( Holland) .I so hope to see you in the finals !!!
@cornpotato tomato "Because of injustice in jury voting" statement was made by TRT(Turkish Radio Television). But Turkish people want to join ESC back. We always joined with beautiful songs and we were always in the top 10. Hoping to participate in the coming years... Greetings from Turkey 🇹🇷
I just can't believe how come this song couldn't hit the final? Even if I don't understand any single word, I felt the rhythm under my skin and it melted my heart. Well done Hungary! Lots of love from Turkey.
A very strong song AND a voice that does NOT sound like everyone else's ! Thumbs up also for singing in your native language ....fabulous !! Good luck from Sweden !
This song is one of my favorites this year. It is so sad and real and you feel it. Even when I didnt know what he was singing it just got to me. I hope this proves the bookies wrong and gets into the top 5. The best of luck from the Netherlands.
@@lindavisser7738 so am I, it is a very emotional and touching song. I dont see why it isnt doing well so far. Lets hope people will take to it more towards the grand final.
