@@dominicdecoco7950 I'm aware of that, it's just she's done the same public school slightly posh accent twice now, I guess I just assumed that was her actual accent. Talented af
As a scouser myself it's so compelling that I listen to what is a pretty rough working class accent coming at me from something so beautiful and in such a soft gentle manner. Thanks Jodie, you're credit to "the 'pool'.
What I love most about Grahams show is you never know whose sitting on that couch based off these clips. *camera pans slightly right* Me: Daniel Radcliffe?? *camera pans slight left* Me: ANNNE HATHAWAY???
That’s what he means. She’s a an actor who with the exemption of Help and maybe something else I’m unaware of, speaks in different accents that aren’t her own. Meaning that scouse is her natural accent as opposed to the others she does.
She is such a great actor , not only Killing eve but she was amazing in Free Guy, cannot wait to see The last duel and next year she is going to be in a movie with Joaquin Phoenix.
@@robinmunro7733 she has two different accents in free guy one in the video game for Molotov Girl, i think Ryan's character mentions once thay it's Australian, and i think Millie's accent it's standard British , i could be wrong about this one though not sure. Jodie used her own accent in The Help.
“Jodie is that Betty? She does that.” Best response ever 😂😂 Who knew Anne Hathaway could be so funny. Also jodie sounds so weird with her natural accent
She was sitting next to perhaps the one person above all who can appreciate and understand what she was referring to about suddenly finding herself in the center of attention; Daniel Radcliffe! You can just imagine him thinking..."I know EXACTLY how you feel!"
This actress should have so much respect as well as adoration...so sweet and innocent...and I hate to say it but I hope the wolves stay away from her ....she loves what she does and puts her all into it and it is so magnificent to watch her grow into an Oscar winner.....can't wait!!! ❤❤❤
So, is this a really old clip? Because I thought Rebel had a significant weight loss in the past year. Am I missing something? Well, other than that Jodie is stunning and has just a lovely personality.
@@chrispteemagician Well, it's not strictly a comedy, it's a drama but if it has funny moments, especially dark humor and it's great. And Jodie's character is iconic, she's amazing!
This is about two years ago, or maybe even longer, so you will have to wait for the preview uploads, and the actual broadcast this Friday for that topic😌🤷
Killing Eve - Brilliant, she plays a 'paid', ruthless assassin.... And does many accents; various British types, American, French and Russian etc. Eve is the one who wants to catch her!
Tbh if I were a fan walking by and seeing jodie, I'd ask her the same. For a photo, and strangle me. I think it's fair to say that. Super weird but fair. I. Love. Her
Come to think of it, her career skyrocketed after Killing Eve! And that’s to be expected, she’s a young white blonde who happens to be good too. But Sandra Oh, the lead of that show, has been struggling for years to get a decent opportunity after she left grey’s anatomy. And she is an outrageously phenomenal actress!! But she’s not white! And not young enough! But Jodie, she’s already surpassed the clouds.
People so obsessed with making things about race at the moment... could it not be that these 2 individuals who differ in infinite ways, have different careers because of their multitude of differences? Are non whites never successful in media and the arts??
@@JacobJackson94 Did I just say non whites aren’t successful in media?? I never insinuated or made a broad generalization! I’m talking exclusively about Sandra Oh’s career that hasn’t changed much while Jodie’s trajectory just took off. These two actresses have different careers because the OPPORTUNITIES offered to each of them aren’t remotely the same. That’s the reason. If you’d like to sit here and pretend that Sandra Oh is being asked to do parts that are as good as the ones offered to Jodie, or as frequently, then that’s entirely up to you. Factual evidence suggest the contrary.
@@AJolie009 Sandra Oh got to play a massive role in Greys. Then struggled. That happens to all actors when they play great roles. Natalie Portman struggled for a while after Star Wars. Elijah Wood struggled after Lord of the Rings. Daniel Radcliffe struggled after Harry Potter. The entire cast of Friends (except for Jennifer Aniston) struggled after the series. Dan Stevens has struggled after Downtown Abbey (even after he left earlier to try and avoid it). It’s not a race thing. It’s a being pretty good at x role thing.
@@jpiglesias8386 Perhaps the only valid point you’ve insinuated is the fact that actors often struggle to break free from a character they’ve been playing for years. However, Natalie Portman isn’t an appropriate choice to make your feeble attempt of getting your erroneous point across. I’m not entirely sure if you’ve seen her filmography but she’s been doing successful films prior, during and after the Star Wars trilogy! V for Vendeta was released the same year as Star Wars Return of the Sith was. She even won an academy award for best actress just 5 years later. Daniel Radcliffe has been offered numerous parts after the harry porter films. Whether he succeeded at proving himself as versatile actor is a completely different point. And the fact that you’re conflating his career that started off as a child actor in the Harry Potter series with Sandra Oh’s experience on Grey’s Anatomy, is asinine! They’re not remotely the same. Elijah wood had his breakthrough in the lord of the rings but didn’t go as far because he’s limited as an actor. Or else why did other stars on the series went on to having several major successes?? And you mentioned the friends cast, a SITCOM, and expect me to take you seriously! I mean the mere notion is risible! Do you realize that they’re still making money from Friends and they’re not in any need to actually work ever again? Or perhaps because comedic actors don’t usually have much longevity as actors of different genres? Just look at Eddie Murphy, Will Farrell, Adam Sandler or Ben Stellar! Do you think they’re as successful as they used to be when they first got started? Non of them where stuck in a show for 10 years! I’m talking about opportunities! If you’d like to be denial of facts and live in your own land of made belief, where people of colors are given the SAME OPPORTUNITIES as white actors and actresses, then I have nothing else to add. Sandra Oh has been struggling because she’s not being offered parts! That’s what she said! She’s not being considered for anything. Non of the actors you mentioned were denied opportunities because of the color of their skin.
