Heres adorable Jodie in a fun interview where she talks about what shes been doing and about working on her show "Full House". This is from my collection.
Arianna Baity yup! kids are so mature for their age nowadays. In a way, it's good but you know how kids are. When you give them the power to be an adult, then they'll start to think and act like they are adults.
I love it too! I think we should let kids be kids. Asking them kid friendly questions not only helps them understand, but helps them express themselves and let's their personalities shine through!
not only that, but today they call teenagers little kids! Society is seriously messed up, apparently you're still a little kid until you're drinking age!
too bad it didn't stay that way and she got into drugs making bad choice after bad choice as a teenager. One wonders how her teen years would have gone if the show ran from 1993 to 2001 to put Jodie in the same age range that Candice was in during the 1987 to 1995 run.
I agree with you completely! Remember the time she drove Joey's car into the kitchen? My father always said "that kid is not like the others, she is more than cute, she really can act!" & those contrived hairdo's they made her wear looked PAINFULL, poor kid

Compare how lively and natural she is to the Olsen twins at the same age. Jodie has the charm and charisma of a star. It’s no wonder producers expected her to be the breakout kid star. It’s really a shame she didn’t.
San Dan I think the twins were shy and may have been forced into the business. I mean they started on the show when they were what 4 months old I think? So clearly no one asked them if they wanted to do it and by the time they could talk they must have been under contract already so they didn't have a choice.
Don’t you think it makes a difference that the Olsen Twins were forced into acting and she did it by her own volition? I mean they were children, why compare them? It’s cruel and senseless.
sort of they r each SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SO SO SO SO SO SOSososososoossoosososososososoOSOSOOSOSOSOSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo CUTEEEEEEE
@@zahavashaw2083 I think it was kindergarten, because she had a 5th-6th grade level. The teachers apparently wanted to move her up to the 2nd grade but her mother didn’t want her, feeling she would feel too out of place
She had a difficult early life, before the show. She wasn’t raised by her parents because they had substance abuse issues. So glad she had better opportunities in life
@@masterofdragons82 She sure did! I’m so happy for her. Her aunt and uncle adopted her while her parents were in jail. Addiction is also hereditary too.
I feel like my parents when I see stuff like this and say, "those were the days." Television needs some good ol'-styled sitcoms where the kids and adults experience challenges and making choices, then always do the right thing. May not be realistic, but the values are received. And kids still do like those shows!
Jodie was is a very awesome pretty actress with alot of talent . Love to watch her on Fuller House all grown up and even as a kid on the Full House reruns !
As a kid I thought the Olsen twins, Jodie and Candace were siblings in real life cause even though they’re not they look a lot alike. That’s how you can tell they casted them really well.
She's so talkative, confident, intelligent and funny for someone her age. If I were to go up there and get asked questions I'd not know what to answer with haha.
See this is cute and I smiled the whole time. When Mary Kate and Ashley went on an interview it was awkward because the people kept asking questions like they were dumb
When I see 2020 Steph, I always think of 1989 Steph.lol just nostalgic. Growing up back in the day. So when I was born 1988 she was 6.Strange to think. Loved that Generation.
2014: no 2015: lets wait 2016: still no 2017: not time yet 2018: next year 2019: not yet 2020 during the corona virus worldwide pandemic: *its go time*
Sweet interview of a young Jodie Sweetin! I just knew the interview here is Greg Lee. He's mostly known for being the host of the children's game show "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" on PBS for the show's entire duration from 1991-1996. I grew up watching that show, as well as Jodie on "Full House."
In 1989 I was 2 years old. I didn't start watching "full house" till I was prob 8 years old, so I started wAtching it on reruns... I loved Stephanie & Joey!! And I'm so sad that "fuller house" is ending on netflix....
Oh my god! She was adorable..Childhood is so innocent and sweet sometimes and Jodie was a sweet and funny little girl back then. She became cute though.
Wow to think i was 1 month younger than her when she did that interview. Shes soo adorable and today a GOURGEAUS Stunning lady. Shes a mom of 3 kids i think. Hehehe she had that cute face when she told Dj Pinner Rolls on your nose hahaha
*It’s upsetting hearing people mention how “it’s so great Jodie had the willpower to quit using drugs”.* *Now I will say one thing..... I agree with the comments saying “back in the day.... people still treated kids like kids in interviews. Now a days, every actor or famous person is treated like an adult. And even just looks older now.”* *Times have changed..... but I will say..... not everything is “directly related” to WHY someone became a drug addict or went down a bad path... sometimes it simply, JUST HAPPENS. Infact.. that ISSSS how it happens. Nobody wakes up and WANTS to become a drug addict. Sure different people use drugs for deeper reasons and use it for different coping reasons. But why they started in the first place is all the same.... and it has nothing to do with willpower. Sure that first time they agree to say “yes” to doing it was the wrong choice. But after that first choice they are almost not in control of JUST the MIND wanting it anymore... it’s now their body that physically craves it.* *I’m 24 years old..... and I was a heroin addict for 5 years. And I’m now 3 years clean as of April 10th, 2017.* *But back to why it upset me when people said “I’m glad she had the will power to quit drugs”.., sure it can TAKE willpower to stop that life entirely..... but when someone says that, it almost has this negative connotation mixed with it... like “if u can have willpower to stop.... then why didn’t she have willpower to not do it in the first place”.* *So with that- I just want to point out that even people with the strongest willpower can become addicted to something.* *Sure there are two different types of addiction when ur using.... there’s physical addiction and mental addiction. And they go hand and hand. But let’s just say physical addiction trumps mental addiction ANY day.* *Once your body is PHYSICALLY ADDICTED/DEPENDENT to a drug?? You could cry wanting to stop using, but ur in so much pain and it feels as though nothing else matters then helping your body get back to the stage it was the last time you used the drug... and get back to how your body PHYSICALLY felt when on it. It’s about pain and despair at that point.* *I just wish addiction was more talked about...... not even. I don’t care if it’s not talked about. I just wish there was more correct information out there on it. It’s perceived SO very wrong by the public. It breaks my heart.* *But I love Jodie and yes... all in all. It was great she got better. But it just hurts me to see such comments that are so easily thrown out there when people don’t really even know what they are saying when they say it, they think it’s as easy as “1-2 don’t do drugs... good willpower is all it takes”... when that’s just not the case.* ‼️ *ADDICTION DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE* ‼️
Just to clear some things up, I think it depends on why you do them. She did it because she was bored with life. I'm sure she could have stopped if she wanted too, but just didn't. It's not until she finally realized the bad things it was doing to her
