Jody is correct, you can come from the hood but take a different path in life. You can grow up with the dope boys, shooters, and killers but decide not to be part of the problem. It's all about choices. We all have options.
Yeah that was me i had a choice, but a lot of my friends did not. It was either sell dope or not to eat at 10 yrs old. Mama sold all the food stamps for crack. By the time he graduated he had sale charges n went to prison. So it was either starve n wear his sisters clothes until he graduated or sell dope eat n go to jail eventually. All of us dont have options out here, some of us do what we have to just to survive
@@slim6088 It aways options fam. You (not you literally) just have to be humble to accept mentorship from some examples of people doing well in life, legally. Everyday that we wake up, we have another opportunity to get to it. Problem is, people want it all at once. It takes time when you're on the grind. We all can level up and become better versions of ourselves...the hustle just gotta be in you. Everybody's hiring these day, so I call b.s. on excuses.
I did, living everybody around me was in bullshit growing up. I CHOSE not to follow that path. So if you follow another path and energy be prepared to meet it one day. This life is chess not checkers 🤷🏾
The rappers today are known more for beefing than their music. This is why once a rapper dies everyone forgets about him and they move on to the next rapper.
I can immediately tell the difference between the people that need social media for validation versus those that don't give a shyt about it outside of business purposes and etc. The people I can usually get alone with don't be on social media like that. I don't even like people that talk too much, I definitely don't like people that watch others too much😂
@Bama Boy Meechie I really don't, and let me help you understand my too much.. I'm speaking by the minutes and hours, with friends, during work, events, while eating, and etc. I'm not even on social media platforms daily.
We are lacking the ability to self govern....we must turn our windows into mirrors. Much love to you all God Bless. I respect this podcast keep it up bro
You should be able to wear your jewels without a threat but the threat is out there so you have to move accordingly. Even when you are driving, they tell you to be a defensive driver. Main thing is to always be aware.
And have security! That’s just like jumping in the lions den with meat around the neck thats gone attract them…why did you go in and go with no protection
This how u survive out chea...be respectful mind ya business don't be too flashy and always be aware of your surroundings that's basic street survival skills anybody can pick up
It all boils down to the words you speak... My granny always use to say "be careful what you ask for,you just may get it"...the tongue is a double edged sword..you create your reality...your words make you a Target..ever wonder why r&b singer's don't get robbed..the talking and speaking bout Love and fuccin...all I'm saying is ve careful what you say..💯💯
Had and still got respect for breez. I heard him say something real in high school that i still think about till this day from 2010. Luh him as a regular on B show
this and my expert opinion are my favorite podcast...they got real people with substance talking bout real things. God know the people need some real shit.
THEY ROB ACTORS AN BALL PLAYERS TO BUT THEM PEOPLE DONT WALK AROUND WITH 200k ON THEY NECK SO THEY BREAK INTO THEIR HOMES ALL THE TIME DO SOME RESEARCH ON IT YOU’LL SEE SAD EITHER WAY RIP POP SMOKE & PnB ROCK 🕊🕊🕊
Speak the truth Jody. The "Google world" has people confused and misled, yet that's become the "Norm". Especially pertaining American culture for African American youth!
Mike Jackson and Stevie wonder also didn’t sing about negative street shit all the time, this rappers put that energy out and be surprised when it shows up! When have we ever seen Stevie wonder wearing a 100k necklace never
The power is in the tung. Including rap lyrics. Powerful enough to create your reality. Good or bad. The answer to why and how bad things can keep happening or stop should be obvious at this point.
I was always taught if you shine’n them wolves coming. People will kill you over anything. on or not. The old heads told me don’t let your right hand know what your left hand do it. But people are more into image than common sense but pnb stood on his ten an felt like ain’t no one fuck’n wit him
We as a people .... We are HURT ... We have NO righteous guidance ... as Breeze said the jewelery is just an outside effect... But what about within???? The TRUE essence of what life is.... The internet has us screwed... GOD help us and FORGIVE US PLEASE!!!!... IN JESUS NAME....
Man, Jody is the truth. Everybody wants to place blame on something. Blame the OG's who is not being mentors to the young people. Nobody is checking these young dudes. Plus they are running around here reckless.
Jody...... You have hit a severely valid point(s) Bro. Men need to hear this. Real men. Great points by Wick and B. Bros keep up the honest conversation about the affairs of real men. Great observations.
