No. There is only truth. Not one version of truth. Version is plural statement. What should’ve been said is there are other perspectives that can lead to the truth. Jody just doesn’t know how to articulate his words. He needs a full time interpreter
I still listen to them Best Kept Secret Mixtapes. Jody was a fool with it. "I couldn't keep faking like we brothers and nobody acting like brothers." That's the realest shit ever.
Hell yea...I feel the same way...I understand why was going off..mfs be thinking you crazy in the head,oh he spazzin out and don't understand til you pull a pistol out..but point is mfs fake frfr
It sounds like Jody regrets pausing his personal debut album to be a part of the Boyz N The Hood project cause he feel like there wasn't really a real connection between them.
Jody breeze young gunna..I be forgetting bout bro ..hes very underrated with them bars ,delivery ,flow, lyrical content , he got it all...he just ain't no sucka
He wrote for Diddy and Pussy Cat Dolls and all type of ish.. He spoke on it once and was blackballed. That ish deep with him. That’s why he come off as angry to most and want to say more but he not.. but I feel what he’s saying
The thing is...unless you live in south atl...lemme tell yall..jody is straight. He been d man. He not the plug. He the source of the electricity to the plugs.
B High interviews are underrated. He's one of the few who actually wants to get the real story about an artist or a situation instead of fueling the fire of drama & clout chasing. Never seen him disrespect a guest or not bring his A game.
Yeah bro the Truth is the Truth. Just one. And with all perspectives pointing towards it in harmony and within agreeable terms. That bullshit they talk of my truth is a delusion
Much respect to Jody Breeze. Definitely underrated lyrically and he spoke the truth. I felt everything he was saying. Sometimes people are just passionate about their feelings and it comes off aggressive. You can tell he really matured as a man. His character and morals are genuine. Stop listening to these rap niggas. They be lying
BHigh drop nothing but CLASSICS!!!! We’ll be able to look back YEARS from now and these interviews will still be influential to Hip-Hop; especially the South.
@@lsubesteva the content that their discussion you just can’t get anywhere. You gotta be able to get in certain rooms to discuss certain topics face to face.
BHigh literally asks the exact same questions every interview "tell my bout that?" "What was it like doing that" the only good thing is he let's the guess have the platform to get they shit off
@@vabmusic318 i would never ask Jay Z and Jody breeze the same questions tho, thats my point. Every interview should feel different because it's different people. Instead its the same questions for everybody. Charlemagne is actually really good at tailoring interviews to the guest. Just a personal critique tho. BHIGH still has good content.
That actually don't make sense bc just like he said how can somebody tell u me or him about their truth? Yes the truth is the truth but if the truth is in the middle and we all standing around it in different positions we will all see it differently from our angle and thru our eyes it'll also make us all feel different in our own way that's why its called your truth. Can't nobody tell u how to feel or how to see or look at something
@@honestlyspeaking905 Everyone has their own Perspective, Opinion, and Preference, but there is only one Truth when it comes to things that occur in our reality. It's only a matter of how close or how far each individual comes to that truth. Feelings have a place and are important...but facts aren't dependent on who somebody feels.
@@honestlyspeaking905 that’s an opinion, the truth is the fact of the matter not to be shifted by point of view or in other words how you feel. Respectfully 💪🏾
B real I love your interviews OG, You always come with the greats an the young generation need to know where it all started with the south rap. I'm Floridian an also an artist myself, and I been following your channel for a while big homie an just wanted to give you your respect now for providing legendary content an keeping it alive. 💪🏾💯 Keep it coming OG ❤️. We need dat boii Drama on here ( Left Right Left) tight2def☝🏾🚀✊🏾
All in all - it sounds like Jody watching, more or less, Dana pass, the stress of “playing the game” and pretending to be a unit as Boyz N Da Hood started to weigh on him and that’s totally understandable on a human level. And then seeing people who put in the work fall by the wayside and go unrecognized - more stress. I love what he said about being there, putting in time from his life and knowing what happened and disregarding the hearsay. A lot of times we see outlets and personalities breed stories that we all consume and run with and we disregard the actual living people that were in the moment because we don’t think they’re wealthy enough to feel how they feel, or we don’t like the person. Good interview. Respect to everybody.
From Best Kept Secret to Airplane Mode 2 and etc., give this man his flowers now!!!! Me and my people played Jody so much, it was like albums to us!!! Highly underrated and he was the one I couldn't wait to hear solo from BNDH #theREALyounggunna #rockinwhimsincestayfresh
R.i.p Dana .....I was there with him early 2000's and witnessed first hand all the restless nights grinding in the studio for absolutely no respect or acknowledgement all these years later. Salute to someone finally actually telling the truth.
Right on. Dana stressed his self to death because of the way block fucked him!! Dana was a real one and he did a lot for hip hop in Atlanta.... That man blessed the game. I still got tracks of his on cd at home... I got a mix tape that me and Dana did together! I miss my brother may his soul R.I.H.
Summary: Failed at rap, claims to be real to give the illusion of greatness. Stuck with old friends with 19 year old thinking. Insecure of image because popularity doesn’t match salary
@@sa-ma-dhi he’s not not speaking on it out of fear but out of respect certain shit don’t need to be said if a nigga got half a brain he can see what he saying
It wasn't Jeezy. He had multi year deals with 3 different labels. All Jody had to do was record 4 albums to get out of the deals and move on. He didn't want to and here we are. It is what it is. 🤷
I was at the DMV with bra and he was real to the grissle. 2 women came in and he blessed them with money and continued his conversation with me. Breeze, was like bra you can rap, but right now these people gone hate on you for being you. He was like they hating on me now trying to black ball me. Told me if I get on not to let people change me and tell you that you can't make it. Bless up to you King and keep going.
If he was on top of his game he wouldn't respond. Since he not a response is the only thing he has to throw back in they face. Jody a cry baby thru my eyes 🤷🏼♂️
I ain't gon fake when 18:06 hit i thought about Tity Boi's part on the Southern Fried Intro when he was in character like Tip "i got my own shop on Old National I'm in these skreets".
Jodey Breeze woke he ain’t sell out like the rest of them he really had love for them. My playa partner breeze keep dropping project. Big five Memphis to Georgia✊🏿🖐🏿⭐️🔥💯
😐...I felt this...there's only 1 truth no versions, no reasons, no excuses. BoyzNHood was a major movement, it's a soundtrack because it was real and it hit....period. Turn it on in the south and the crowd rocks....still!!!
I worked Jody breeze first album.I promoted his first single “stay fresh” for shonuff/Warner bros. That song is a classic jazze pha did his thing on that.
Yessuh! Sampled the Floetry “Say Yes” joint.... I’m From Chicago... heard that shit on a mixtape up here & was a fan ever since. Always wondered what happened to homie
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥......Jazze was definitely in his Memphis mode like when he did “Shonuff” for Tela !!!!!!..... The reason that song did not blow is because Floetry’s publishing would not release permission to use it or he would have had a # 1 hit that’s why it was not in heavy rotation on radio. But I must say ..... Greg Street broke that record in ATL radio (V-103).
I had to listen to 8 and 1/2 minutes before I knew what the hell he was talking about! But once he got around to clarity, I felt where he was coming from... Much respect!
Man! B high man u got another 1 and 1 of my top 5! Man! I feel like I kno him after tht interview cause I feel wht he sayin in my bones! These niggas do b on tht and I'm not bout Jezzy or none of them, I'm talkin bout my own experiences with individuals! 💯
I fuc**n love this man bro. The most slept on artist EVER(from the south) still bump “Best Kept Secret” on my playlist. Put some respect on his name fooly.
I think they came in as a team as a family and he was the only one that stayed loyal. It’s deeper than music and us casual fans won’t get it. It’s not for us. But I do understand. This is beyond music and there’s no telling what he’s seen and what Jody has had to go through and still stay solid. So why his friends chose to play the game for fame and fortune; he chose his soul and his real life over fame and fortune. That’s the point. He’s not going to pretend to be happy when so much other things happened outside of just the success. He’s not mad or bitter. It’s just more to the story and it all counts.
@@SLIMM1209 but just like Jody shut the co-host up. some ppl can't understand.. til u break it down for they ass. Mfs be too fake being friends w fakes and start believe other fakes. Real can see Jody sayin what need to be said. 😂🙄
This whole time, I thought Jody had on a black hoody underneath the blue champion until they zoomed in and I realized those are his locs!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Great interview!
Now that's real...... people in positions in hollyweird and entertainment because of the crazy stuff they are willing to do behind closed doors.... the goal is real freedom✊🏽💯💎
Salute to B High for bringin a down south LEGEND on here and actually letting him speak his mind interrupted. Breeze one of the best to come out the A and deserve to be respected fasho. Was around through the early eras of the south taking over, never went out lame for the fame like a lot of his peers, helped mfs get heard (Jacquees, August Alsina, etc) and still here to tell the story. He just too real for the industry and we know how that usually goes.. Dude story been the same this whole time, morals and principles. Mfs love to paint you as bitter when you’re on what looks like the less successful side of history and you speak out, but nobody knows what went on except them. Dope interview !
