Joe B Doesn't Hold Back On Wilson, Saleh, & The Jets Defense! 

I love this weekly segment with The Incomparable Joe Benigno. And I am a Giants fan.

I moved outta NYC decades ago and have lived outside the country for decades. I could listen to these guys talk NY Jet football for hours and hours. ……thank you gentlemen, for making me feel at home every once in a while. God bless! And happy Thanksgiving!

I am a life long Giants fan. I have many friends who are Jets fans. I don’t hate the Jets or root against them…and, I have been extremely lucky that my team has won a SB in every decade since the 1980s. It is absolutely incredible how much goes wrong for the Jets. Every positive becomes a negative, every win a loss, every pick an issue. It goes against the laws of probability.

I remember after the Buffalo game Joe B. said that the Jets could still win with Zach and did not say a thing about needing a good back up. Now he yells about the Jets not getting a better QB as soon as Rodgers went out with his injury. Joe B. said nothing about getting a better QB right after the Buffalo game. We Jet fans knew what Zach was. I was asking on message boards 4 months ago who will be the Jets back up QB and other Jets fans just laughed and did not care.

only listened to about 5 minutes of it so far but its sad that they can't mention the Jet Blue and Zach's family connection , simple as that

At the draft, Saleh had a preference for Sam Darnold and trading down. Douglas and Woody were enamored with Wilson. I think Saleh is told what to do and that's it. His coaching will improve when he move to his second job. Player friendly coaches usually fail when the team has adversity and needs accountability.

As a dolphin fan I listened to JB for about 15 years, for the most part his career Mon mornings would be a laugh fest on his break down of the game. I hope Joe gets a w in the Superbowl at least once in his life 🎉

The is the best segment of the week for NFL. At least a 3rd of the league can just insert their team and players and everything they say applies to your team and it’s just a big venting and laughing at all of our misery session that is therapeutic (I’m a Redskins fan).

Zac was not improving. They gave him many opportunities to improve. He can't blame the Jets for not giving him time. They gave him plenty.

I want rodger’s to come back asap so he can play behind this line and make them better. I’m told he can do that. The first couple of plays before he got hurt were just an anomaly. They’ll be a dominant force going forward. Guaranteed!Maybe he’ll bring new gloves for the receivers, tight ends, and running backs so the ball will stick to their hands. After Rodgers went down they should of been on the phone at halftime looking for a QB. They let Mike White go who was a perfect back up that sparked the offense whenever he went in. Other teams are playing with back up QB'S and they are doing fine. Instead we keep Zac the sack machine.

Mike White was a egg back there people. Always injured behind this oline. He would be decapitated.

They should move Thursday night games to Friday.. Friday night lights baby.. it’s so much better and reminds me of high school when we had big games.. plus it gives the players an extra day rest.. feel like Friday makes so much more sense and its better… but this game is going to suck anyway, cause the jets blew it and we are out of it

I still dont understand the appeal of Joe and how he befriends all these coaches, etc. His analysis is limited to “why dont we play the guy, you dont know what we have” and any opponent who hasn’t won a championship he just dismisses. Seems like his shelf life is about 20 years longer than it should be

Ok, the reason the jets held zach as the starter, is because hes the only QB the jets have that wont get killed out on the field (literally & physically). It now makes perfect sense when Saleh said: zach is the best chance to win" its because saleh was foreshadowing a fact. The jets dont wanna put a backup out on the field with that terrible Oline (because it happened with A A ron) and for all of the backups to go down like a stack of dominoes would be a terrible look for the jets, hence why, saleh and Douglas kept zach out there. because hes available and knows the Oline. The reason the jets didn't go after a legit backup is because it would cause confusion with the team(following season) and hurt the confidence of Aaron Rodgers. Taking Aaron Rodgers was a bad idea, it did and will hurt the confidence of the entire team... during the offseason Douglas was supposed to trade picks with the rams and bucs to get a legit Oline and they didnt which was very irresponsible of Douglas... it's a lose, lose situation the jets have.

Mike White, forget Mike White. The guy is built like tissue paper. Two season in a row he started and two season in a row he was carted off the field with season ending injuries. Imagine that poor guy behind this Oline?? He'd be in a coma. I like White as much as the next guy but let's stop being delusional. He was very inconsistent in his play.

Hackenberg was the worst because taking him in the 2nd round prevented us from getting a QB in the 1st round the following year. Who did we pass on? Patrick Mahomes and Deshaune Watson. Christian Hackenberg kept us from getting Mahomes or Watson. Think about that one.
