I want to know how much a player is making a year in his contract and their endorsement deals, the power struggles that go on both in the league and in individual teams, rivalries/friendships, stories of thriving and struggle franchises, the deals the league does with advertisers and so on. I find all of that as interesting as the game itself.
Joe Budden has a following of people that surpasses rappers like Lil' Wayne, Drake, Big Sean, Kanye West, etc...I am not saying anything bad about those rappers. But Joey's fans are die hards. Joe Budden gets respect cause he tells everything like it is an never like it was AND his music is relatable to 89% of the average listener. Where the other rappers might get 5%. Anyone can rap about money they don't have, Cars they can't drive, and girls they haven't ever met in person. Joe speaks truths.
i will give u that, i think ppls first impression of skip is too strong and then they never agree with ANYTHING of what he says from there on out because they only look at him they way they want to

skip really is a great sport if you look at it and some of these celeb/athletes don't even see it. he let's stephen a get the popular argument everytime while he argues the against and gets vilified everytime. without him the show wouldn't fly.
No, I wasn't saying his fan base is bigger. Simply saying they are a more loyal and true fan base. I feel that fans of rappers like lil wayne are fans cause it's "cool" to be. Their friends like him so now they like him. Wayne use to be a good rapper in my opinion, But now he has no substance an just rhymes words together on a beat. Joe Budden talks about real issues. They are his issues but I think they are issues many people can relate to even if their situation isn't the exact same.
While Stern is has done many great things for the game, He still does nothing about the growing conspiracies that the draft is rigged, refs fix games, ensuring big market teams stay good and small market teams stay terrible... just to name a few

well in all reality, Stern CAN LEGALLY do what he wants with his league. If he tells his refs (his employees) to favor one team/player over another, it's perfectly legal for that to happen because the refs are "doing their job". Doesn't matter who or what anyone thinks, it's his business, and his company, sorta say. There is no violation or policy against organizing your own business to maximize your revenue intake from consumers (viewers/fans). It's merely a business for entertainment.
4 years late lol but a huge issue with that is sports gambling is legal because it is somewhat "skill based". When things become rigged like that then that creates another issue in the legality of the gambling side which is huge in sports, because it isn't about knowing the sport and the team's when the commissioner just decides the final outcome
