I never comment but I was waiting for yours. I saw him give times in San Diego Fifty years ago. Always my favorite. No one sings you are so beautiful to like him You should listen to this concert. Many in this audience are older Rita Coolidge was his back up singer.

This is so very known 80's song and it was used in the erotic movie "9 & 1/2 weeks". Actually it was used in a scene with Kim Basinger performing striptease for Mickey Rourke. Doesn't need more explanation of the lyrics, right?! LoL I love Joe Cocker's songs, his out of ordinary voice and moves. Great choice!

Joe Cocker performing a Randy Newman song (writer of other stuff like, um "You've Got A Friend In Me" from Toy Story). Joe does this so well.

Yes 🔥🤩. A classic featuring the unmistakable voice of Joe Cocker, but originally written by Randy Newman. Personally, I like this version of Joe Cocker better because of the crookedness in his voice. And you're right HAP, I had the same feeling and the song particularly reminds me of Tina Turner's "Addicted to Love". It had the same soulful rhythm and beat and she actually has a similar tonality in her voice. And a sax 🎷 fits perfectly and emphasises the soulful mood. You picked a great performance of this song Chris 🤩🙋🏻‍♀️.

Reading the comments, I didn't realize it was in the movie 9 1/2 weeks. My Dad loved that movie, but he also loved listening to Joe Cocker. Dudes been around a while. Another great song choice and reaction ✌️ ☮️ 🥷

Joe Cocker is of the Woodstock generation. Pretty sure he didn't have more than one album out at the time he played there. He did die about 10 years ago. I don't know this song but I do know him for a cover of the Beatles "With a little help from my friends" among a few other songs. I think he also did another Beatles cover or two in his early years? Of course along with his own songs that weren't. Anyway he's one of yours. He's a Brit. Hmmm....Never would have put "sexy" in the same sentence as Joe Cocker but here we are. (and yes that is his birth last name 😉)

IMO, the best scene in the movie 9 -1/2 WEEKS!! Kim Basinger is sexy gorgeous and Mickey O’Rourke adorably cute! The song was also featured in THE FULL MONTY .. great movie!! 🎥 Oh please check out the striptease scene in 9 -1/2 WEEKS, worth every film frame! 😜
